Might explain why we aren't tanking this year b/c we'd likely lose next year's pick and that draft is supposed to be loaded from what I've heard.

With PG and Jo timeline, you think we would tank this year so we had a shot next season. We are basically punting on two seasons. Are we gearing up for our big playoff run when PG is 37? Lol

Morey probably crapped his pants when he heard that report lol

Never throw good money after bad?

The moves made are starting to make more sense with Butler and Grimes. Get younger. Maybe move PG in the off-season (if it was true we promised not to move him in yr 1). Send Joel to surgery and let McCain and Maxey build chemistry with youth around them and then hopefully a high pick with Joel coming back better and ready to run thru his extension.

I guess Pee G is going to grap on to his pinky everytime he miss a shot or turn the ball over

No one is giving anything on either end. It's just Embiid and Maxey n̈ot having anyone to defend them lol

PG is way more concerning to me than one legged Embiid who is keeping us in this game with Maxey. PG is a warm body out there.

When both Embiid and Maxey are playing, I like that he can play without the ball through. I would just like him to turn it on when Jo or Maxey is out.

I think he knows he can’t shoot right now. Prob doesn’t really need to play.

Why is Lowry still getting minutes? Nurse is worse than Doc who was worse than Brett.

Our D sucks bad, they are getting out hustled out there. Losing a game like this one without the Freak out there is terrible.

Then we find out the injury status on Jojo after Morey hid it. There are alot of reasons to hate this franchise, but I believe Morey had to know this situation but just threw him out anyway. Guess he put duct tape on Jojo's mouth about it.

If Jojo is that hurt, he should've been shut down before the Olympics.

As for this game, I hope they can get PG started with Max and Jojo.

I’m thinking Morey really believes their ceiling when healthy is a title contender. So I was kind of going from his point of view. If he thought this group were a wrap, I don’t believe he would’ve honored a one year no trade promise for anybody if he thought it was in his best interest.

How long would PG’s injury take to heal? I assume it’s not just an excuse. It seems hard to score with a brace on your finger.

I knew he needed a procedure in December. Totally should've tanked. Disgusting decision not to. Cruel not to disclose it earlier. I still think they should shut him down now. He clearly has the same issue as Kawhi and Kawhi had surgery to try and correct it to where he's now back

By the way this is the first game he's had without a knee brace

If he broke that promise after Harden's "Daryl Morey is a liar" rants, it'd probably be the end of his reputation with players and agents.

Plus, that 4 game streak and 5 of 7 in January likely kept the odds in favor of trying for 10th and hoping luck happens if they get in that Joel guts it out and then surgery and a lost year happens.

Why is Edwards even on the floor?

Our role players suck.

Next year's class has a very top heavy 1-5. As great as Flagg will be, there's 2-3 guys that are on his tier in 2026 per a lot of early looks at the 2026 draft.

Sixers finish this season from hell, Joel gets the surgery and they legitimately shut him down for 2025/2026 season. Maybe PG plays and rehabs his value with a healthy knee/finger and gets moved at the deadline.

Nurse's contract details are undisclosed, so I couldn't find out when it ends, but I'd suspect his deal would either expire after next year or be in its final year in 2026.

The 2026/2027 season would be the intro to a new "era."

I’m mostly surprised they Yabu has played so little. I thought they’d play him next to Embiid more. Unless he’s playing reduced minutes due to knee soreness.

Yabu looks checked out. Bucks are really hype for this one, and we got our heads down.

Maxey shot block was beautiful and then a PG three
