I want no part of Tyrus Thomas in a Sixers uniform. He's a poor man's Shawn Marion and won't be a factor going forward.

Tyrus is a bum. He hasn't any basketball skills, just an athlete.

I wouldn't even trade Willie Green for Tyrus. At least if Green comes off the bench, he's worth his contract.

The guy was (one of) the best defender(s) last year, in the NBA, as a rookie

Sixers would be stupid not to trade Andre Miller if they were offered Tyrus Thomas for him. But I really doubt that the Bulls would trade Tyrus for Andre. First, it really doesn't help them at all. What they need is a post scorer. And they know that. Thats why they keep offering for KG and Gasol. Second, Andre Miller wouldn't do much difference in their backcourt. They'd still lack a legit SG who has height of a REAL SG.

I don't see the Bulls getting much for TT though. He hasn't proven anything yet in the NBA. And the guy can barely get off the bench in Chicago. That's not exactly how you drive a players trade value up. That being said, I would still pursue him but I surely wouldn't go overboard in trying to get him. I would consider a deal surrounding Jason Smith and Carney, etc. maybe the first rounder we got from Utah. I'm not sure I'd give up much more than that on a player who's shown nothing but flashes here and there.
