If we had a PF that didn't suck or was undersized and Miller was gone then yes. This way Gordan could play pG and not worry about setting up the half-courtas Iggy could that and most of the time we just throw it down low..................................without that then no we don't need any more undersized 2-guards..............so in other words I'd be okay with it but the deree of okayness would depend on the team we have.

Ben is looking for the $$
Bulls would like to keep Ben - but they may be so far apart in salary desires that a deal may not be reached.
There is a chance that Ben take the QO - but he will try to reach a deal. Bulls will try to sign & trade him if he reaches a deal with another team.
At this time, only Philly can attempt to sign him to an offer sheet. OK - memphis can also but we all know that they are on money saving kick & will not sign anyone.
If you sign him for about $8-9 million a season, Bulls will probably match that. If you sign him for more, Bulls will probably let you keep him.

^ I think it's hard for us outsiders to say how aggressive the Bulls management will be in keeping Gordon now that they have so much additional money invested in the guard position in Larry Hughes. So we'll see the future soon.
I personally wouldn't mind adding Gordon, but only if our PF position is settled first.

Calderon will get just as much or even more then Gordon because he will be more sought after then Gordon. We should not go after Gordon at all but to say Gordon is a dime a dozen player or so is Garboso you are starting to sound like Sendem when he says Iggy is a dime a dozen player.
Andre Miller is a bad 3pt shooter.

That was my read on the situation when I posted this thread. Gordon only makes sense for the Sixers if they figure out their PF problem & if the money is right. Iggy has been starting at SF & T Young at PF. Now if he grows another 2" the PF problem is solved. Evans already is a decent back-up. Philly needs a legitimate SG so that Willie Green can either come off the bench or be traded. Gordon solves that problem. After that the Sixers need a back-up C. Jason Smith might be the answer there. I'd still go big in the draft.

you're right though and calderon should be offered around 10 million per and so if it came down to it, use our money on him.
I disagree with you on this one. I like Calderon as a player but why commit cap space to him while Miller is on the team. I see him as a good distributor & shooter but weak defensively which is why I don't see it as much of an upgrade other than the fact that he is younger. Sure he has lots more assists than Miller but that happens when you're on a team with guys that can shoot. Unfortunately, that is not Miller's fault.

Calderon's a $10 mill/year player? Wow. He's a good player but a lot of his stats are inflated by having very good shooters around him. He is smart with the ball though. On defense, he does get beat by pretty much most PGs in the league. Also, until this year, he was a terrible shooter. $6-7 mill I could see but $10 mill? That money, at least a portion of it, could be spent elsewhere.
I think the main priority of this team should be to keep Iggy without a max deal and find a PF that supplies an offensive upside.

I can't see Stefanksi going after Gordon since Ed seems to prefer athletic swingmen. I have some interest in Gordon but like most places... he doesn't fit here. I guess I would go after Gordon if the following could happen...
1- You package Iguodala and Miller in a trade for a top PF prospect. (highly unliklely)
2- We could acquire a tall PG (6'4" and up) via the draft, free agency, or trade.
Considering the massive shakeup this would cause, I doubt Gordon will be coming here.
