Would you say that Simmons is a suped up, more explosive version of Saric?

Is LeBron James a more suped up, explosive version of Boris Diaw?

Simmons is not Saric. Saric is more in the Draymond Green realm in which he can get a rebound, push the ball and deliver a nice pass. Simmons is more LeBron-y, where he's going to be a primary ball-handler for whoever picks him. I didn't say he was going to be LeBron, just that he plays a similar style.

He looks like High School Lebron to me. Not saying that's his upside, but that's who he reminds me of.

Saric can also make plays in the halfcourt, not just on fast breaks. I wouldn't definitively say that Simmons is going to be a primary ball-handler in the NBA. Long term, that is. He'll have to really fulfill his potential to reach that I think. It's possible, but it's also possible he rounds out his off-ball game and is found to be best used as a secondary ball-handler at this level.

it's cool if you want other prospects like Murray, and Jaylen or whoever.

but do yourself a favor and understand Ben Simmons is the next NBA superstar. not wanting him because of a "logjam" or whatever is just silly

Ben Simmons is positionless. Just put him on the court. Some people don't think he can guard NBA SF's. Some people think he's too rigid. Some people don't think he's that athletic. Let's just hope the Sixers get the top pick. And he will start. We can debate whether he's a 3 or a 4 and wonder how Noel and Saric fit in with him. That's all fine but the bottom line is he will be the starter at whatever position he plays. Saric shouldn't even factor in wanting Simmons. Put Simmons on the court and just watch how much easier Okafor will get easier buckets and he will get the ball in more advantageous scoring positions.

yeah if he is that good..who gives a **** about anybody on our team right now. You make room for top tier talent.

Now I am not sure he's that or not..but that is mainly me not wanting to hype myself up

You should hype yourself up this might be the last year in a while we get to have a realistic chance at getting the overall #1 pick.

No more tanking for Wiggins.
No more Embiid will be great this year.
No more Russell is a wizard with the ball.

An era in 76ers tanking will more than likely come to an end after the next draft. So enjoy the process.

We have not been lucky enough to snag the #1 overall pick yet. But you never know.

I know there are a few on here that will go "well I did not feel that way!"

But we have gone from "Wiggins is a generational talent!" to "He will be an all star but never as great as his physical gifts should allow him to be!"

"Next year Embiid will be beasting and he will be the anchor of our team! " to " It's best if you don't even think about him...anything we get from him will be icing on the cake!"

"Russell is the guy we should target his court vision and his shooting is just what this team needs!" to "My Cod Russell is horrible the Lakers did us a favor!"

The draft and the college basketball season, should not be 1/2 as important as it is now this time next year (I hope), in terms of where our pick will be and who on the college scene we should get. This whole part of the process has been enjoyable and frustrating at the same time.

Neither of these teams look like they belong in the top 10. Villanova would blow out either of them, right now. They need a lot of growing to occur.

Just going by the eye test for the Duke and Kentucky game, none of these young guys impress me. It is basically Simmons and everyone else so far in this draft.

Agree about Simmons, but Jaylen Brown has been good so far

Teammate Ivan Rabb has been more impressive than Jaylen Brown, IMO.
