We are doomed. The window closed when we got rid of Jimmy and traded Mikal for a pick and fing Zhaire no name Smith.

Why so we can rebuild for 5 years and maybe, hopefully get a player as good as he is right now?

2 shot attempts from Harden in the second half of an elimination game. The second shot came with under 2 min in the 4thQ. How anyone can defend him in any way shape or form is mind boggling.

But I’ll be honest, the narrative that he’s immune from criticism each year because he has injuries is getting lame.

There is never going to be a magical year where he’s healthy in the playoffs. It will always be something.

no doubt

but I just don't think he can be the main shot creator...things were great when we has him as a play finisher...and just went away from it for reasons unknown.

I am hoping its the roster and improvements move him to more of that.

Most of his injuries have come off of things that would also have injured other people...its not like he is just running up the court and catching injuries. Last year Lopez air tackled him ffs...thats why his knee got **** up. This year his thumb got stuck in a jersey and then he got hit in the face w/ an elbow. Can't control those.

His fatigue issues on the other hand are definitely due to his usage rate and role...a better team would solve that. Harden was supposed to solve that. Has not. Our best games this post season came due to Maxey explosions and Harden clock turn backs. That shows that I think Biid can be the "best" player but not the entire offense on a successful team. Again that is the case for EVERY player. Luka is the future but when he goes nuts the Mavs tend to not win because no one else does.

Biid can be better...much better..I just think the idiots flocking in to pile on due to their stupid ass agendas anniy the **** out of me when dude is out there despite everything.

You definitely have to consider it. If you have Derrick Henry and you get your ass beat in the playoffs every year by Patrick Mahomes and Josh Allen and you never make it to the Super Bowl, it’s time to start thinking about trading Derrick Henry.

I’ve only been saying that for months now.

I was mocked for wanting to trade Ben for a depth package and picks. Wouldn’t have helped this year obviously, but there would at least be hope. I’ve never felt so defeated about this franchise going forward

Is it the hidden trove of talent on Sacramento that's needed to make salaries match that would be saving us in this game right now?

Nope. We’d 100% be in the same spot, maybe even be eliminated already. But we’d have hope moving forward. We have little to no hope with Harden opting in to his inflated contract.

No one wants Tobi on a max deal
Thybulle killed his value as a trade chip
What else do we have to reshape this roster?

Nah. Harris improved his value, 5 games against Miami notwithstanding,

Thybulle still has a value as a cheap (for next year at least) defender.

Morey has a lot of work to do.

The F ups by this franchise the past 10 years are too many to count. It has come full circle. Started with your hero, Hinke and now to his mentor, Morey.

I don't really see that at all. Assets that existed then are gone, the team has aged. Draft picks are either traded or locked into possible trades making them untradeable. The salary cap situation now is 1000x worse than that off-season as well.

I don't want to fight...I love all of you. But Shake has been mishandled by Doc Rivers since Rivers started coaching here. I think one of the biggest knocks on Doc is how much of a jerk he's been to Shake Milton. I don't understand it. Shake was never given a fair chance here. Sadly Brett Brown was the only one ballsy enough to turn Shake loose. Doc has never let him find a rhythm and it's hurt his game big time.

If Embiid was 100% healthy, would we get past the Bucks or Celtics? No. This is about the rest of this garbage roster and lousy head coach.

The difference in this series was Jimmy Butler as a scorer and a leader, versus the absence of that on the Sixers.
