Yeah I just looked at that, I think we would need Evans, Green, and then some. What are the provisions on moving Evans anyways?

I like the idea of acquiring Marion, but isn't Thad just a younger version of him? I don't know that its a perfect fit, especially if we move Miller, this offense would be very different.

Also, Nene is apparently up for grabs, I know the injury history here, but the upside would be huge. Not to mention he plays well in an uptempo style (when he does actually play).

Nene is still relatively young and he's got some great physical attributes. He's got an injury history though and hasn't yet really broken out. So it's a risk, but one with some real upside.

Any word on what Denver is asking for in return?

If Denver is somehow willing to go for Willie/Ollie/Carney or something similar that doesn't affect our future significantly, it'd be tough for me to say no to that.

whats the rule about trading guys again that were traded in last 3 months...doesnt it have to be a 1 for 1 deal or something like that?

I'd be interested in moving for Joe Smith as well. One year left on his deal...and he's s serviceable 4. With he and Miller coming off after next season we'd have lots of money in that offseason

So is Miami trying to quickly retool or completely rebuild?

If it's the former, they'd be most interested in Andre Miller. But if it's the latter, then I think that Thad would be most attractive to them.

Carney can be had if we like the return....we would prefer to move Green though.

There are no provisions on moving Evans since they have all expired.

Why would Miami want Miller if they are moving Marion? Contractually it makes no sense since they both expire at the same time and Marion is the larger deal. From an age standpoint it makes no sense since Miller is older. So why do they do that?

Sure, if it's for the ever popular Green-Carney package deal. Otherwise, they're probably better off not adding salary, if it's only for a Joe Smith type of player.

The only limit on trading Evans is that I believe he can't be traded back to Denver until next year.

I believe Marion can opt out after this season. I'd stear clear regardless. Young looks like he'll be a player, and Marion is going to get maxed out by someone.

Ok....I quit. This is why people get aggravated on here. The inability of some folks to take part in civilized conversation is astounding. I REALLY try to be diplomatic at first but this is ridiculous. Sorry to be a broken record....it's just I got slapped on the wrist the other day, and this nonsense just keeps going on.

All good things. Any idea what the return would have to be?? Have you heard any names that Stefanski is targeting (Delonte West, Charlie Villanueva, Kyle Lowry)???

We dont even really have anything brewing...no one really wants Evans.

The pick would have to be included to get someone to take Evans or Green probably..lol

Lowry,Wells,Thomas...two of those are gone.

Artest to Denver isnt dead...the two teams are waiting til the 11th hour to see if the other gives.

By the way SF... thanks as always for stopping by and reporting this stuff to us. I realize that after 3PM today, you're going to walk off into the sunset and probably won't be heard from again until the day before the draft... so thanks!
