WCS or Skal, Malachi Richardson and a good second round pick would work for me.

I'd rather do strictly picks. I don't like any of those Kings prospects.

Re: Official Bryan Colangelo thread (for Hinkie talk, use the Hinkie thread)
Is there any realistic scenario where BC can stuff this dream set-up from here? I'm only vaguely familiar with his history. What's he likely to do given what he's done in the past? I imagine there aren't that many GMs in the history of the league who will have ever been in this position, let alone BC twice in one career, but what can we extrapolate from what he's done previously?

A few things from BC's past:
Like D'Antoni, tends to want to outscore people instead of defending. Trades one way defenders often. Not surprised Jerami Grant was the first to go. Somewhat surprised and impressed we're hearing more about trading Okafor than Noel--although he does seem to like to play fast, so that would account for it.
Traded for Boris Diaw and used him one through five. Won't be afraid to use Ben Simmons strictly as a point guard.
Shawn Marion grew up with his Phoenix teams. One of the weirdest shots in history. Won't be scared off by Lonzo Ball's unique technique.

Miles Bridges is Marion-esque. Run, jump, shoot.

I think Sam Hinkie should get Executive of the Year award. We should pay him a 2017 bonus. Also, Vlade Divac is our team MVP.
“This may be one of the best jobs in basketball right now,” Colangelo said at a press conference introducing him as the new GM of the 76ers after Sam Hinkie resigned.

Okafor for WCS is a trade I would definitely do.

Not sure how everyone feels about the trade deadline Thursday. I hope it's quiet on the Sixers front, I don't trust BC to do any good deals without being ripped off or getting played yet again.
All these leaks of teams interested in Okafor and no deal is close, you would think they are using Okafor as leverage for their other deal and BC is dumb enough to play along lol.

Bryan has successfully convinced me he won't do a trade. Kudos.

So far(knocks on wood!) BC has made good trades! I still can't believe it
Hopefully he learned a thing or two from Hinkie! There's still 17 hours til deadline. I'm just waiting on him to make a really bad move here

BC good job. Don't rush a Okafor trade just to do one please. Stay away from Chicago. I think keeping Noel as a expensive back up Center is a bad idea regardless of fit. Jah has two years to get fit, work on his J and get better at defensive awareness. Don't rush .

Re: Official Bryan Colangelo thread (for Hinkie talk, use the Hinkie thread)
BC really hasn't done a bad job with trades, though I have yet to see the killer instinct Hinkie had. So far I have nothing much to complain about, even though his vet signings were not overly successful, they aren't hamstringing us long term in any way.
The issue for BC has been the optics are terrible, his press relations are actually worse than Hinkie's and the outright lying and misinformation Hinkie usually saved for other teams, just using his cone of silence around the team. And that's the thing, Hinkie was canned because of the optics, so his replacement should be as good or close to it in making moves and far, far better at making the team optics better. Nobody trusts him, not because he has made bad trades or picks here, but because his history is spotty, we hate his freaking slime bucket Dad (who is likely why Okafor is still here in the first place, Hinkie knew to trade him last year, but couldn't, you know, the optics were bad for JC), and the fact that he has hung Brett Brown and the organization out to dry far more frequently and overtly than Hinkie did.
I give him the benefit of the doubt on making trades and picks for now, he has earned it tenuously here, but again, if we moved Hinkie out because of the optics of how 'bad' the team looked (while the entire NBA has cheered on the tanking Lakers for years, eff you Adam Silver) under his watch, what has BC done other than make those things look worse, even when the team is playing better?
Make a good trade Bryan, and then stop being a douche, okay, is that too much to ask?

Feels like BC is playing a tough front "treating okafors value as if he's the 3rd overall pick" but is going to fold shortly before deadline. I hope im wrong and he pleasantly surprises me.

The longer the Celtics wait to pair a stud with IT, the happier it makes me. It sounds like they won't get George or Butler this deadline.

Make me team president and get me the number of that guy out at Stanford, that's as far as my ambitions run. Oh, and fire Scott O'Neill, he is doubly douchy, and let Jojo do double duty as franchise center and team spokesman.

Meanwhile, K.C. Johnson of The Chicago Tribune reports that the Sixers inquired on Butler, but were rebuffed by the Bulls.
As long as he made a reasonable attempt, I'm good.

Bryan is making me happy as of late. His thought process has been excellent.
Inquired on 2-way KCP, inquired on 2-way Jimmy Butler, moved the expiring Ersan for 2 seconds. All excellent decisions.
