This is not a good trade for us + why would the Warriors want Simmons when Draymond is playing like a DPOY again.

I was one of the few Warriors' fans who wanted a Ben trade at the beginning of the season but with they way they started the season with Curry playing like a MVP, Draymond DPOY and the great locker room vibe I think that ship has sailed.

If we can get Grant and Bey from the Detroit I love the trade. I'm not sure what people are expecting we aren't gonna get a superstar back. Simmons has superstar qualities and hype around his name but he can't shoot. Him not being a shooter I'm sure half the teams in the league aren't interested. There's probably like 5-6 teams who really have legit interest and they probably don't want top young player in return.

Any deal with Detroit I need that 2022 first round pick unprotected & Saddiq Bey. Grant would simply be the salary ballast.

Where is Simmons going to play in Detroit. Back up PG?
You want it to be one way....but it's the other way.

The Detroit rumors seem bogus as a primary destination for Simmons, salaries and players don't make much sense, Grant could have been had in a flash if Morey wanted him for Simmons. With Detroit having some alleged interest in Marvin Bagley, they make more sense as a third team in on a Sacto trade since Bagley might be included but not really any kind of a fit here.

Ben Simmons sits at home rooting for the team to lose.

I think you'd get a different Ben Simmons with Draymond and Steff. The last few months have been messy and deluded his talents in thr eyes if many fans but I doubt GOD have forgotten. They are waiting for the fire sale.

Give me Jerami Grant for Ben, but Saddiq Bey or Killian Hayes comes with him.

The guy (Morey) who is deadset on Harden, Lillard and Beal likely isn't going to turn around and accept Grant unless Cunningham is attached (which would make no sense for Detroit).

I agree, that's why I suggested that it would take Grant and some significant change along with him. Not sure Hayes is that dude either because he's been pretty bad so far. Detroit and Ben Simmons does not make any sense in my opinion. It's a terrible fit, a terrible place for a player like Simmons to play as well. He can't survive Philly and he damn sure wouldn't survive Detroit either. Neither city is
built for the faint of heart, and a mentally weak player like Simmons just can't do it.
My attention remains on the West Coast teams with Sacramento as the lead dog. In fact, I think it's always been Sacramento and when this concludes, it'll be them that we deal with in some fashion. Give me Fox, Mitchell, Haliburton and lets move on. I prefer Haliburton ALL DAY if that were possible, but I would be happy with any of the three.

Hypothetical..

Would you trade..

Ben and Maxey for Cade Cunningham, Jerami Grant and Olynyk?

Has Maxey become more valuable than Cade?

The deal gets you a shot maker (Cade) and a 3&D big forward (Jerami). Pretty sure Doc can turn Olynyk as part of our 50-40-90 club also.

If we're able to leverage Maxey into landing Cunningham, that would be the best pump and dump job in NBA history.

Only doc can pull it off.

So sounds like you’re more than OK with that deal huh?

Because that deal makes a lot of sense for us.

Bucks wont be able to beat our offense. And if we can have someone who can slowdown Giannis like Jerami Grant, I like our chances in a 7 game series against them.
