Simmons is the clear-cut #1 pick. We can have some pretty fun discussions on here about the two, which is fine, but Simmons is a once-in-a-decade prospect.

i got mocked when i said simmons won't be the unanimous #1 pick in the draft even before the college basketball season began. obviously, i'm still taking that stance.

Sixers should draft Ingram. This guy in a couple of years will fill out his body, he will be a terror on defense and offense with his condor wingspan and sniper range

I'm not voting now. My opinion will change every day. I'm leaning Ingram right now though.

how is he a once in a decade prospect? he can't shoot the ball and his athleticism is not elite

I'm a strong Ingram lean. Build our team around elite length and inside outside balance. Simmons has too many red flags and modern NBA requires your best players to be elite shooters or athletic freaks of nature. Simmons is neither.

Simmons is clear cut for me. Not even close.

Simmons is a franchise player. An icon of the league type in 5 years.

Ingram is a potential all star for sure, but Simmons is a major league difference maker, and now we have TWO of them if Embiid can stay healthy.

Looks like Simmons is more worried about Sneaker deals and the LA Lifestyle than he is about helping improve the team that may draft him. Not surprising this kid has a few wires crossed.

Year after year we hear how everyone wants to be a Laker, this kid didn't go to Duke, NC, or Kentucky which leads me to believe he won't care where he plays in the pros.

Even if he DOES care. He will play for us if we pick him. Philly is a great city to play in. It isn't NY or LA, but it also isn't Millwaukee or Sacremento either.

Simmons is fools gold. I also dislike his association with Klutch sports. We're trying to build good culture here and the last thing we need is LeGM 2.0 controlling our franchise.

Ingram is the better shooter, the harder worker, the more intense player, the better defender, and has the potential to be a great ISO player.

Embiid/Jah/Ingram with Saric off the bench is greater than Embiid/Simmons/whoever we trade Jah for with Saric of the bench.

I agree 100%, Philly isn't a small market city.

I hope those who voted Ingram don't piss and moan when Simmons is the pick. I like Ingram, but this is a no brainer. I'll deactivate my account if Simmons is not the pick, not happening.

Simmons/Embiid is the dream. They both have top 5 potential. Like a Westbrook/Durant pairing, except in the front court. Use the rest of the assets to bring in a talented wing player and now we're cooking.

That's the key.

Our core is Simmons and Embiid.

The rest of the guys are auditioning to be part of those team long term, or they can be traded for pieces that fit.

The tank is officially OVER.

I think Simmons will have trouble scoring in the NBA. If you get the #1 pick, ideally you are looking for a guy who has the potential to score 25+ ppg at the NBA level. First and foremost. Not sure Simmons can do that. I mean, maybe he can, but I look at him as more of a 17/10/5 guy. Very good, but you need offensive scorers who can take over games. It's why the Spurs lost to OKC.

Ingram has 25 ppg NBA potential.

I can see the advantages either way. The truth, neither one of these guys is a can't miss prospect. People calling for Ingram aren't crazy. People calling for Simmons aren't crazy. People saying there's no debate, yeah, you all are crazy.
