If you mean by mulligan, getting exactly who we got at the pick we got him, yes, you can have a mulligan.

Imagine considering Rich Paul as an agent after this.

What a loser. Rich Paul is the luckiest guy in the word.

Yeah, the minute Lebron retire, Rich Paul is getting his ass fired.
We can criticize Ben all we want but his representation has make him look even worse than what he would naturally look in a situation like this.

Re: Ben Simmons Trade Thread Part 6
There was a time (probably in August or early Sept) where I was saying all he had to do was a simple scripted PR stunt to reinvigorate himself to the fan base, maybe talk about how he was going to change his scoring mentality, etc, and the fans would welcome him back open arms.
Now anything he does looks completely contrived in an effort to reclaim his salary. It doesn't take an agent to foresee this current situation unfold the way it has.

I mean this is leverage back in Philadelphia's favor. Now he just needs to play acceptably well and linger around the all-star status he's typically maintained.
Never mention Caris Levert in this thread again. Morey's getting his star.

If he wanted to get traded that bad he could have reached an agreement similar to what Wall got from Houston and work from there. They could even keep the agreement under wraps for the media.
Yeah, that would have take leverage from us, but would had made the entire situation transparent for fans and would have normalized the real situation with the team while also mantaining negotiations around a trade clean.
Now Ben, if back, has to make as he has a normal relation with Joel and Doc. And probably act like everything is normal in an environment where the press is gonna be looking for any conflict on the team. Not to mention he's gonna get boo'd by life every time we play home.
Just an entirelly bad managed situation all around.

Oh, I agree. When I say "welcome him back" I meant to stick around long enough for us to find a satisfactory trade for him without the current circus. This was a very easy thing to avoid and all Ben's camp* did was throw gas on the fire.
*I say Ben's camp because the Australian contingency will let me know that Ben hasn't said anything for 4 months and is completely absolved of sin since he never speaks.

Morey might just be able to salvage this situation after all.
I still don't think he's getting a star. But when combined with the blurb that came out about Sacto... seems to me a Kings trade could be on the near horizon.
