Embiid didn’t play in 2 of those 4 games

Defense was ass in the thunder game, Nets game felt more like everyone was just making shots.

I think the Nets gave a little blueprint for how to defend this. That said, Maxey + Tobias need to be aggressive as C&S options or cutters when they're smothering the PnR.

Who is our ideal 2nd round matchup? If we stay in the top 2, it’d be Milwaukee, Brooklyn, Cleveland, or Miami.

I don’t particularly want to play Brooklyn or Miami because they have some true playoff dawgs that can take over a series. So it’s really between Bucks/Cavs for me and I’d probably pick the Bucks if I had my choice. I don’t think Middleton is ever going to be 100% this year and Jrue/Giannis vs Harden/Embiid would be super fun.

Which sounds crazy in a game where we put up 137, but yeah. Switching and zoning up is probably the best answer to it. The Nets do have a pretty uniquely switchable way to matchup though. Not sure how effective that would be with a smaller guy on Harden.

Need to add another big wing to this rotation. Not sure how we’ll accomplish it but I’m hopeful it’s on Morey’s mind.

In the 16 losses the Sixers have this year, Scott Foster has reffed 12 of them

Embiid is averaging .96 points per minute, which is 4th all time for an individual season. Harden in 2019 averaged .98 points per minute, which is the most points per minute since Wilt.

This guy covered nicely the nets game including our performance against the zone

Next 3 games. Alternate rests for Biid and Harden. Get them ready against the Celts and possibly the Knicks.

Windhorst gets criticized a lot but he has good insight into teams and what’s on the horizon. Both of those guys layed it out pretty well imho

Questions should we trade Shake to get a return instead of losing him via free agency ? Korkmaz,Harrell and Reed need to be turned into Andre Drummond .. also another long athletic wing won't hurt. We need that.

No. We hold unto shake unless we get an upgrade.
If we lose him, then we go find a replacement out there.

Shake is a guy you let become a free agent. He runs the offense well enough at this point where we can't afford to trade him. No one else on the team is capable of filling in for Harden.

Neubeck said the Sixers top priority right now is a better backup center and mentioned Drummond as a possibility. I immediately thought of that when I read an article the other day about the Bulls wanting to move him at the deadline. Not sure if they'd just cut Harrell then if that happened.

Drummond makes the salary of Niang.

Trading Niang is a Drummond idea
