Yea i really hope there is nothing to the suggestion that the Sixers haven't kept him out because they are worried about the optics of having another top pick sit out to start the year. Getting Fultz right should be a top priority and i'm only in favor of him continuing to play if it won't further aggravate the injury and he would not recover any faster by sitting vs. playing.

This is pretty disgusting that they handle our franchise players like this.

Even more disgusting than assuming Fultz would lie about an injury. You'd have to be a real **** to believe that.

so the guy can't really even attack the basket correctly with that bum shoulder. guess we haven't seen anything from fultz yet. i guess that means when his shoulder is 100%, we'll see a much better finisher at the rim, and a better defender, since he'll have full range of motion in his right arm.

still impressed with 1 armed fultz out there

my god this front office is an absolute **** joke

honestly the NBA should be investigating this joke of a team for negligence... this is beyond ridiculous at this point

Why in the hell did he not go to a specialist sooner... FFS

and this is a bursa sac, almost 100% positive since they are talking about draining fluid

all it takes is rest for this to heal, NOT REPEATEDLY PLAYING AND PRACTICING

I had to take a steroid dosage pack when I had this issue years back, I'm assuming NBA players cant take that even if Dr prescribed correct?

I stand by my original theory:

Scott O'Neil and Josh Harris is commanding the Sixers to play injured guys because they don't want the embarrassment of losing another #1 pick, plus for monetary reasons.

Telling you these guys are scum. O'Neil is the reason Embiid played last season vs Houston, I'm telling you.

This is 1000% correct and was always the simplest answer imo.

Let him sit out as long as necessary, all year maybe, why not?

Btw, how many times did I hear "If he was truly hurt, he wouldn't be playing!"

Have you guys forgot what team you're talking about here?

It has to be his shoulder. No shooting instructor would tell you to practice shots like that.

Man, we are seriously cursed with our rookies unable to stay healthy.

XD lol....clearly he was acting the whole time. CLEARLY HE WAS ACTING...he knew he didn't have the stuff to play in the league so he made up a story. Clearly it was a body double that got the fluid drained out of his shoulder and not Evan Turner...I mean Larry Hughes....I mean Fultz. This is all a song and dance created by Colangelo in order to appear competent while he passed on a generational player in Ball and one of the greatest two way wings on the earth Josh Jackson.

That medical staff believes FDR was in a wheel chair from playing polo.

Markelle Fultz just retweeted the story lol.

The Sixers management is a disaster and I feel sorry for BB being used as a sheep.

Not that I feel a need to defend myself, but I don't think anyone thought Fultz was faking his injury. I think there was likely an injury, Fultz undersold the extent of it because he doesn't like to make excuses, all while there was a shot rebuild. It's not out of the realm of possibility since he was a 65% FT shooter.

If you're getting some kind of vindication out of this, then congratulations, I guess. I, for one, never thought Fultz was "faking". I think that's a narrative that is being created to build up the "I told you so" crowd.

Agent saw how the 76ers were handling it pretty much saying nothing which sort of implies his client is a basket case and this is all in his head. Said player is literally getting killed on and throughout social media/around the league. Agent feels like he's given 76ers enough time to stop the B.S so he comes out with his version of the situation and people are saying it's potentially false? Out of all the orgs to believe about injuries this is the one you have faith in over the agent? LOL

I bashed Hinkie, but the biggest problem is and will continue to be Josh Harris....he sets the tone.

He can build new practice facilities and hire FC Barcelona Dr's, but he's a bad owner; who knows nothing about basketball.

Scott O'Neil is nothing more than a snake oil salesman

Stop with the conspiracy theories already.

People don't make up stories about shoulders getting drained. That can easily be disputed by the Sixers if he made it up and then the agent would lose all credibility.

It sucks to have another draft pick hurt, but no reason to be in denial about it. At least we know now and someone came out and gave us something for once.

someone absolutely should be fired, and fined

can anyone come up with a few different injuries that would need drainage? I know bursa sac is one...

does this stuff happen with labrum injuries?
