Wonder what his first big endorsement deal will be. Maybe Kia should make a car named "The Process."

whats up with your weird obsession with me?

I'm fascinated that someone who is always so spectacularly wrong and constantly shows he doesn't know what he's talking about, can still confidently make these declarations about draft prospects.

Knock it off. Now. Thanks.

Hope to start increasing that % of shots taken inside of 10 feet. Currently at 49%.

For reference:

Porzingis - 38%
Davis - 48%
Turner - 49%
Cousins - 58%
Towns - 60%
Jokic - 60%
Jonas - 73%
Whiteside - 82%
Drummond - 92%
Gobert - 99%

So excited to have him. It's been sooooooooo long since we've had a young franchise centre. Always dreamed of it even during the days of AI, thinking, "man, Mutombo is just ok with frozen hands, but imagine a real center".
Truth is on the side of the oppressed.

The best news of the Suns loss was in the 4th quarter when Embiid was driving and stepped on a defender with his right foot and really turned his ankle and continued to play. He was holding his ankle/foot for a bit and limping around. Then he made his free throw, scored another bucket or two and made a few more free throws.

He showed no ill effects from stepping on a defender with his surgically repaired foot. That's the situation I always worry about with him and he passed that test.

First game in a month that he had more than 4 turnovers. He has gotten a lot better there already.
It was the best of times, it was the worst of times.

We are beyond the point of saying that Embiid will be a star. He already is a star. He is more than holding his own against the NBA's best big men, and he is still on a minutes restriction. When the restriction is lifted and he gets more experience and refines his game, he will be historically great.

I think it will go up once Simmons is back and the guard play gets better. I want to see alot more easy dunks and layups but it's kind of hard now with all the attention he gets

As has always been the case, as long as he is healthy, he is a franchise player. I don't think that he will make the allstar team this year, but starting next year he will go on a long run of consecutive allstar appearances, and I think that he could challenge for DPOY as early as next season.

The body just needs to hold up.

It will also go up as he gains strength and NBA experience. For all of the Hakeem comparisons, his post game is probably his rawest skill set right now and it is likely due to the fact that he hasn't played much basketball for 2 years. Once that comes, his %'s inside will probably go up.

That being said, Im fine with him using the face up game and shooting jumpers. Its a legit weapon and he's been scoring effectively from those areas. Hell, he is shooting over 40% from 3PT on 3 attempts a game. Not even Dirk did that in his rookie year.

Embiid has zero competition this year for ROTY.

It's kind of sad for this draft class.

Well his main competitor broke his foot and hasn't played.

Problem is, Biids main competitor will make him look even better and more dominant.

On another note. Was checking the usual twitters and saw nothing on it. Any news about the heat pad on Embiids back?

If I recall correctly there was a report in November that Embiid's minute limit and back to backs would be reassessed at the end of December... Any news on that?

curious to see what the strategy is for Utah/Denver

which game he plays, and which game he sits.

Return to Philadelphia 76ers
