I think at certain point most were salivating over JJ. I dont know, but legend that skills (shooting, handling etc...) are easy to teach, while athleticism rules just does not work for me. I mean Ben is the only exception that I would think as a draft choice to the rule that a player HAS to have at least decent shooting. And that is not just because of his insane athleticism, but because of the vision and handling which is a skill by itself. So JJ or for instance Bagley this year are definitely players I would not touch in the wildest dreams. Fultz will be ok unless the sickness permanently changed his shooting (a guy with the same injury on Reddit said his shooting permanently changed, two others said their did not, so 66% unbiased

)
If we stayed at 3 I wanted Jackson, and would still love him. Tatum has outplayed him to this point, and looks like the better pick so far, but I would have been happy with Jackson.
You have to separate the prospect from both the team he is on, and his play in his first two months.
Phoenix is a mess right now, and Jackson isn’t going to save them as a rookie. He is still pretty raw too.
If he was on the Sixers he would be in a much better situation. His flaws are his flaws, and he hasn’t looked good, but I would take him on the Sixers in a heartbeat.
Happy to have Fultz despite the cost of getting him though.
