This team is cursed. At the start and near the middle of the season I blasted Ben every chance I got. Then all of a sudden he started playing like a completely different and better player. It seemed like he could play an entire game and not get tired and unlike Embiid he did not miss many games. Then boom he gets injured. And now is out till who knows when. The 76ers hopes of even getting out of the 1st round seem to be dim without Ben. As much as I want him back on the court, I hope he takes his time coming back and comes back healthy and not rush anything.

I really want to see Embiid play with 4 high volume shooters for an entire season. He would be in the MVP race.

Nerve impingement... Doesn't sound horrible... Re eval in 2 weeks, makes it sound like we could get him back in the end of March if all goes well...

Phew

I'm guessing there is something going on with his disc though.

The new report is that there is "little expectation" Simmons will be ready to play when he is re-evaluated in two weeks. Doesn't sound optimistic or good about the upcoming month.

Probably deciding between rest and hoping it gets better.

Hope it’s not a Dwight howard back situation where eventually decided to get surgery. Even microdiskectomy “minimally invasive” can be tricky recovery.

Hope he can avoid surgery.

Yes, if the ‘nerve impingement’ is from a prolapsed disc it is a bad situation. Sometimes you can just tweak a nerve but it is hard to know what else would be impinging on a nerve at his age.

So its a pinched nerve? He will probably have to rest up close to a month so the issue doesn't linger when he comes back.

Biid’s game doesn’t rely on Ben and we saw this against the Hawks. Without Ben, Al maybe more playable with Biid.

Biid has to carry the team when he’s on the floor. Then Burks and Tobi has to carry the load on offense when Biid is off the floor.

Fire whoever let him play, you don't **** around with max franchise players health and being cautious is always better than a few extra eyes on a national game.

Yeah she is crazy... like literally. She is bipolar. I tried to help her out the last time she went crazy and Ben blocked her as I have a partner with bipolar and understood what she was going through. She appreciated it at the time... but as soon as I replied to a post disagreeing with something she said she immediately blocked me :lol:

She has some major major chip on the shoulder issues.

she's absolutely crazy

she used to post a lot about how the father was a deadbeat and ran out on their child. i personally cant stand deadbeats at all, but after following her social media for a few months i decided to unfollow and began to think, maybe there's more to that story than what she let out lol.

she definitely has 'colorful' opinions about stuff
