Well, you can take a break tonight from your usual bashing of Ben. It's actually quite nice.

Dont play like a passive puss or embarrassingly bad and I wont have anything to say. Tonight I got nothing bad to say. Its on him, not me.

NO ONE should give ben any passes when he doesnt play like tonight. Every single game he DOESNT play like tonights 3rd quarter should have the org and fan base up in arms.

If you dont expect max effort from ur max paid players, then wtf are we doing here? Every "it doesnt matter if he had 4 pts he played good D" is giving him a free pass to play at half effort.

Great game by all tonight. Do it 10 more times this post season

That was a nice mature, business like road win. That was a turning point for this group.

Let’s hope 10 days and the bucks series goes 7 games.

We need all the perimeter defenders we can have. While he hasn’t been great shooting this series. He’s been rock solid most of the series especially the most made corner 3 pointers in the nba this season

Green injury got mitigated today because Kork stepped in and defended guys like Bogi/Huerter just as well (or better) than Danny would have. Was torching from three also. The production from Shake and Kork has been night and day as of late.

Still praying for a speedy recovery though.

Is that his timetable, just wondering if you heard that from somewhere.

We don't need him as much for this series, but if we get to the next series we will need him bad.

Maybe Im old school. And I dont like a superior team having to use all his weapons to beat an inferior team.

Ben will score when we need him to. Like say if Trae Young is guarding him at the post.

But Ben won’t force himself to score when there are better options.

Would you rather have Ben jacking up jumpers or letting a shooter like Korkmaz or Seth take those jumpers off a Ben handoff?

If you want to criticize Ben, it’s for letting Trae score 28pts on 52% shooting. Like I said, he should take the responsibility in clamping him down by any means necessary. This means even off a screen and even if someone is defending trae.

Good game, watched it on dvr. Controlled it from start to finish. Korkmaz stepped up. If he is going to play like Im sure he is going to get a majority of Danny's minutes. The bench was excellent as well, especially on the road. Going to need more of that.

Interms or Ben, i think it all comes down to his foul shooting. If that improves I can see him becoming more aggressive going to the rim. I dont ever see him really shooting from 12 to 15 feet, at least for now. Good game by him though. That lob to Embiid was awesome.

I know we lose the game but it was just superb coaching where Doc just let the Hawks develop bad habits and also see all the cards Hawks have in their hand. You can see the lackadaisical way of how we played that half.

In that G1H1, its like..

“can we run the usual stuffs we run on reg season that we dont even have to take it into another gear like how we did against the Wiz?”

“Can we get away with just having Danny Green defend Trae?”

“Can we live with Brett/udoka style of staying with the shooters and just Trae just scoring off floaters ?”

And we got our answer on that half.

Then look at all the adjustments we made after G1H1.

Losing G1 was the best thing that happened to us. It felt like losing an elimination game to tell you honestly. I mean, look at how we full court trap and press desperately to win it. And it kinda woke our intensity.

You need “shocks” or volatility for competitors to take it to the next level. And G1H1 was that for the team.

I dont know about you guys, but for me we had control of every half and in synced since.

I am a massive Simmons fan due to the fact that he contributes so much to winning basketball games & don’t believe that he should be traded unless it’s for a bona fide superstar in his prime

Found it frustrating watching Giannis and his 30+ points with a completely broken jumper, yips on fts & lack of fundamentals

It's never been about jumpers with the legitimate Simmons criticism. It's urging him to do what he did last night. Taking his man off the dribble from the wing, over and over. I wouldn't even call it "forcing it" because he's incredible at it. LeBron-esque. He's got the size of a center, shifting his way side to side like an elite running back. Sure the foul shots are a bitter pill to swallow, but sometimes he gets by and slams for 2.

I prefer that style of player WAAAAY more than sitting idly by in the dunker spot or clogging the lane.

And Ben had some sick set ups as well. One I remember in the second half he was posting up and zipped it to Curry on the opposite corner/wing for 3. He can do it all. Problem is, he can do it all only when he feels like it. Do this nightly Ben! You're our 2nd best player and deserve to be involved this much all the time.

When you have Ben playing like this combined with Embiid and Harris producing their nightly offense, we are pretty unstoppable on offense.
