A healthy Fultz who misses like the first 10 games would be more useful, than a guy who plays every game but can only use 1 shoulder.

this is what has me worried... if it were something that only needed that much time off to be 100% I would think they would have done that... knowing us, it is a major injury they tried to have him play through

Is there risk of further injury?

I had it from weight lifting.. there was no way mine was going to get better if I kept doing so.. I had to get on a steroid pack for a week and stay off of it

He raised his arms to shoot and get rebounds. He can raise his arms above his head because we saw it. The agent added that part to make it seem worse. But I hope they get this thing fixed and he comes back healthy 100%. I'd like to see what he can do healthy.

Or maybe he actually can't. Ever thought an injury could get worse? They already said he had it drained once, and he sat out a preseason game because of it. I love how you absolutely refuse to give him the benefit of the doubt.

"He can't raise his arms over his head" likely wasn't meant literally. He meant he can't lift it without pain.

Plus, grabbing a rebound is different than shooting a jumper. We know he can lift his arm in front of his body. The release on his jumper was very high above his head.

People should start adding a second literally when they literally mean literally.

I am taking this report as more than an agent just trying to cover for his client. Mostly because this will end up with Fultz sitting for a few weeks and that's certainly not what Fultz wants, but needs.

You also need to give him a break once in a while. You don't let up...

Telling you these guys are scum. O'Neil is the reason Embiid played last season vs Houston, I'm telling you.

Completely agree with this.

it's amazing how people can't understand which type of range of motion this injury effects

John Clark just reported that when Fultz got his shoulder drained, they never told the Sixers about it.

It's completely reasonable that Fultz would be able to do certain things with his arm and not others.

I'm just using this as an example an obviously these are completely different injuries (and hopefully its not nearly this serious), but even on a torn ACL certain movements aren't affected at all. I had a buddy tear his twice, and I watched him practically sprint on the torn ACL without pain or a hitch. Stopping and going side to side were impossible for him though.

If I had to describe someone with a torn ACL, I would probably say "he literally can't run". Now that wouldn't be true, because I've seen him run with my own eyes, but it is the most apt and brief description for how that injury is affecting him.

Moral of the story, I can believe in a world where this wall just an injury the whole time and some rest will hopefully get his shoulder right.

Color me not surprised.

Totally sounds like this is Scott O'neil saying. "Oh you're fine, you can play through it. This franchise can't afford to have another #1 pick sit out, so if you can technically play, then you're gonna"

Scott O'Neil is nothing more than a snake oil salesman

Josh Harris hangs out in NYC with his hedge funds with no real say in any of this.

Scott O'Neil is and always has been running the show.

Huh? This makes no sense. What is going on? How can the Sixers not know? BC better come out and talk.

So... is he likely to sit out now that this has surfaced? Any mention of this? If so, any speculation on how long he'd be sidelined?

I think its fair to assume a default of "for the rest of the season" until proven otherwise.

I've said this from the start, this was inevitably going to end up with shoulder surgery, and Fultz being out for months.

The Sixers desperately wanted him to be able to play through this for PR reasons. and ironically now it's blown up in their face.

They never learn.
