I posted earlier in this season that Embiid is much more skilled than Giannis and I don't remember it being a popular opinion. Giannis just throws himself into people. And he's really good at it

If they actually officiated him fairly and called the charges that he commit on every possession he would be a modern day Corey maggatte. Nothing more than a good player st best. He can’t shoot, dribble and is nothing more then a walking charge merchant

I wouldn't go that far..he's still freakishly fast & agile for his size. That athleticism blended in with his strength and physique make him really hard to guard going downhill. And his passing is a bit underrated too. But he certainly isn't the most skilled superstar

He's a great all around player ,versatile defender and one of the best finishers in the league. Hes just not the most skilled offensive player. He dominates offensively similar to how dwight Howard did in his prime. Through sheer athleticism, strength and size around the basket with giannis having the added ability of being able to bring the ball up and attack from the perimeter.

Like, if i was a betting guy i would be worried he was sabotaging the game on purpose.

Still stunned about this, like....i normally don't think coaches are the sole reason a team loses a game but that game was....wow

Giannis is the modern day Shaq. Still had like 36 tonight. He's not the most skilled, but he's dominant... They need to get him a closer. Much like Joel needs one, even though he's much more capable than Giannis.

Bud has to get fired. Can't even get an exit interview. Leave

Like I mentioned, I think teams also have adjusted to Giannis now compared to before. Scheme wise and roster wise.

Anyway, this all changes if Giannis switches teams to maybe Heat, Warriors or Raps. These 3 teams are looking to acquire him for quite some time

Giannis was not himself. How many free throws did he miss? His best games were the last few of his finals MVP campaign. If we can knock off the celts I like our chances.

Something funny tho? A lot of analysts have said that we didn't look great while beating the Nets and the Nets were probably the worst team on the playoffs.

The Bucks are out, The Suns look pedestrian and the Celtics are gonna play a 6th game against the second-worst team in the playoffs.

At the end of the day, gimme the series win.

Also, call me an idiot but the Knicks are gonna kill the Heat.

Why? The Knicks are gonna destroy them in the glass, just like the Hawks did. Their bench is also miles better.

Unless Butler average 40 from here on i don't see how they win.

Choosing a weak opponent in the first round > Higher playoff seeding. Why? Because players are dropping like flies.

Weak opponent is not necessarily a low/lower seeded team

I dont remember him playing like this other than a couple game winners in the regular season. Kahwhi completely outplayed him , Tobi and Ben during that raptors series

It has to be taken into account that playing with Ben is basically playing 4 on 5 on offense. Tobi was choking hard in that series, he missed 11 threes in one game, which is a franchise playoff "record". Kawhi had the best individual performace I have ever seen by a player in a playoff series. Also the fact that Jimmy might be an even better playoff player now at 33 than 4 years ago is wild :D.

Heat have Spo, Red hot Butler, Bam, Lowry and Love contributing

So a great coach and a bunch of seasoned vets, it’s their best iteration since the bubble with the Crowder/Olynyk tandem

Knicks are just making up the numbers whereas this one is a threat.

I will pass. Give me someone who's more durable but less talented. Kawhi is too injury prone.

Tatum is shooting 25 out of 63 FGAs (39%) in the last 3 games.

Lowry and Love have been contributin for 5 games, sorry if i doubt them.

All of that it doesn't matter either if the other team has 10 or 15 extra possessions
