Tobias, Maxey and Melton....WTF?

Doc has gone from all bench lineups in the playoffs, to playing 7 guys. Don't understand why Reed can't play with Embiid.

It's also clear that Embiid doesn't have his full stamina right now. Doc has to find him some more rest in the first 3 quarters.
Yup he lost his stamina with 2 weeks off. Would be nice if we had closed the game properly to get him the rest he needed.

We need two more great games from James Harden. This was by far the most intense game I have ever watched between us and them! I don't know how the hell we pulled that off, but we did and we're back to all square at 2-2. I feel great at the moment. If we can somehow steal game 5 in Boston we might have a chance. IDK! This was the best playoff game of the season thus far.

Im more concerned about Jojo next game. He played almost 48 mins thats why he looked super gassed.

He does not have lift on his jumpers, he does not rotate on defense, he does not crash boards.. its understandable because of fatigue but still.. its something to monitor

Reed also played poorly. Those 1-5 PnR arent working and its leading to poor spacing and confusion on the court. Defensively, he’s also getting outworked by Rob Williams.

Biid has to play extra minutes because of him.

Chill he had 2 weeks off. This is how he's been his whole career. No need to make a mountain out of a mole hill and feed the trolls.

Embiid can not manhandle Holford is worrying me. He should eat that man alive. But nope.

Wait till all the trade Harden talk flood the social media when he pulls another stinker next game. lol

Embiid needs to beat him off the dribble or pull up quickly for middies on the short roll against Horford, he can body anyone else on that roster. If they double, pass cross court to the corner and get it swinging to find an open 3 or a line drive to the hoop after a pump fake. Harris needs to show up. Maxey needs to stop driving on their best defenders and learn to make smarter decisions while using his speed.

Agree. It was Reed's worst game and Doc put Jo back in early when he doesn't have the stamina to handle it.

Reed needs to step up big-time in Game 5.

Shoutout to PJ Tucker keeping us in the game at the end of regulation with hustle and fire when the team looked ready to die.

Or maybe the way Celtics play tires Embiid more, I think we have many years of evidence by now. Just play him less minutes.

Expect Doc to shrink the rotation again in game 5 unless it starts to get out of hand. If that happens, then we'll see more counters, but he played it close today because of the way the game went. I can't be mad at him for only going seven deep. This is the playoffs, you've got to play your best guys. Still think we should have seen McDaniels, but he's had a rough series when he has played. Outside of game one Paul Reed has really struggled. We're going to live and die with this rotation. We'll be ok.
Game five is either going to be another tight one or they're going to blow us out. We can't just play to go back home. We have to win game 5 and 6 in order to advance. A game 7 in Boston would be epic, but I don't want it to get to that point. The very worst case scenario is a repeat of last season where Miami finished us off in games 5 and 6. Don't want that to happen again. If we don't at the very least force a game 7 I'm going to rage.

Or we need literally anyone else to show up. Maxey with 14 inefficient points and Tobias with 9 inefficient points. Melton scored 0 points.

Maxey and Harden need to try a pump fake when getting into the lane because Williams and Horford are biting on everything from them.

I also wish we had a competent backup center so we could play Reed with Embiid for stretches. We were getting murdered on offensive boards for a moment and since Tobias isn't really doing anything else, we might as well get a shot blocker and effort rebounder on the backside to help Embiid when he's contesting shots.

Yup. He inserted him too early around 9 min mark when usually its at 7-6min mark. This is aside from the fast pace we played in the first half.

Unpopular but I’d rather have James play 2 man game with Maxey or Tobi instead. The slip action is predictable already.

I'd like to see McDaniels too, I know he hasn't been grabbing rebounds or shooting well, but he can't have been worse than some of the minutes Tobias and Niang gave today.

We need Embiid to hang in TO's hyperbaric chamber for the next 36 hours.

Need to see some consistency from James Harden in game 5. Can't have him shooting 2-18 and finishing with a crappy line which also leads to us getting blown out. Him and Embiid have got to be the guys the same way Durant and Booker are working in Phoenix. We're the underdogs, it's going to take colossal performances from Harden and Embiid to overcome this. It's doable, but we've got to stay with what's been working.

By the way, having Embiid in there made Tatum have to kick it out to Smart at the end.

We need two things to happen to win this series.....Harden has to be great for two games and the Celtics can't shoot well from 3.

I've lost hope in Maxey and Tobias doing anything meaningful this series and Embiid is clearly limited to some extent, so Harden will need to be great twice. I'm not being greedy and asking for 3 more great games.

We can't stay in front of them, so they are going to get good looks more often than not.

Embiid has No fitness and is bothered with his knee. Harden needs to carry this team over this series so by the conference finals Embiid will be in better shape and hopefully pain free

It's official, you're back on ignore. I've tried to keep an open mind with you, but I just can't.
