There’s never been a time in history when we look back and say that the people who were censoring free speech were the good guys.

You didn't lose me at hello; but you definitely lost me at all 3 levels. Two I could buy being a concern; but at the rim he's elite.
You're right forgot about at the rim, which is what makes him a lottery pick.. Should have said at the midrange and at the 3. He has no pull up jumper, first step is average, and unexplosive athleticism. The comparison to Harden doesn't work because Harden had an elite first step.

KOC has seemed to bump up a few guys that came on his podcast, just sayin'.

Harper is ELITE at the rim. Currently capable as a shooter. If you are banking on VJ and Ace developing there...then you give him the same grace no?

How many times are you going to repost reactions to the draftexpress take about Ace? Bodner adds next to nothing and Kyle doesn't even say anything except posting an emoji.

Lack of first step and average athleticism scares me. Most great shooters are good in college too. Also not sure about his defense. Can't have another defensive liability.Mik317 wrote:Harper is ELITE at the rim. Currently capable as a shooter. This 3rd pick is too damn stressful.
Trade down for a top 8 pick this year and that team's unprotected 1st for next year. Make sure it's a crap team so we get another top half of the lottery pick... another 10+% chance at #1 would be nice.

Just remember that you care about this even more than they do.
That's for sure. Add the poll

Isn't one of those levels near the basket? He good at that
I question his ability to get there in the NBA. I question his abilities and to be clear his willingness to play off ball and both Spurs and 76ers value that in guards for their systems. Not just my speculation, but Eric Snow pod says he's heard that too from around the league.
Morey also valued James Harden who was the least off-ball guard in recent history.
After he was already a proven commodity, and these 2 players don't seem to be comparable to me. Harden could shoot, elite playmaker and by the time Morey got him, he was a dominant threat around the rim and could get there going right as well. Morey also has proven to cater to his coaches system and in the case of the 76ers their best players needs. The system I'm referring to is Nick's.
The main similarity, which I don't like is the talk of Harper being a shoot or get the assist type playmaker rather than a ball mover

Re: 2025 NBA Draft (2)
Rewind back to October:
"This draft is so deep! Three potential all NBA players along with multiple all stars, too bad we won't be involved."
Rewind back to January:
"We might as well tank! If we're going to do it, now is the time, this draft is loaded with talent.
Present day:
Harper is an average athlete, can't shoot, Bailey sucks, Johnson can't defend, Edgecombe is Gary Payton Jr at best. Cooper Flagg is the only good player in this draft.
Yeah, we are absolutely back!

Just imagine if we had landed #1 and Flagg was no longer really a generational prospect, there were calls to move the pick for Giannis or Durant, and we had videos picking apart Flagg's game. Your head might explode.

I can save you! Let me find the video showing Kon literally falling on his face as he trips over his own feet trying to do dribble moves!

We've just witnessed the poorest display of judgement by any prospect. I can't draft a man that had the Timothy McVeigh cut.
They say an analytics man doesn't have a heart, but I ran the numbers and nothing can be further from the truth - Sam Hinkie probably

I will warn you, one highlight/lowlight does not make the man. Otherwise Queen is Hakeem and Ace is a YMCA scrub when Derik sent an Ace fadeaway shot back into his face.

Actually a pretty well balanced video review for Kon. Kon definitely has the intangibles for IQ and hustle which I love. The section that had me laughing started at 8:59 minute marker. The C&S is also a huge plus when looked at in our team context. Still digging in on him and others.
