Why can't this **** franchise be normal? There is no reason not to be transparent about a Franchise cornerstone having a legitimate injury. you have the kid embarrass himself and possibly get into his own head regarding his Fts instead of sitting him or having a damn procedure.

I'm not usually a pitchfork dude but someones head needs to roll for this. There was no benefit to obfuscating the truth here. Would people buy less season tickets if you said Fultz is out for 2 months? I highly doubt it. **** them.

Do you really believe this crap? Do you think the sixers aren't noticing the same things we are? That they didn't have their doctors check it out.

John Clark should be fired he's a HACK who insults our intelligence as fans.

100% real talk. If this is true then BC needs to sack up and suspend Fultz. He has literally (I mean the Websters definition) breached the Uniform Players Contract and they can suspend him, fine him, or void (don't do that one) his contract.

I call straight bull.

Huh? This makes no sense. What is going on? How can the Sixers not know? BC better come out and talk.

That completely makes no sense. That’s the kind of stuff that could get your contract voided. You don’t get medical care on the side without telling your employer. This must be false.

It's either false or the Sixers source was lying to save face...

Or, and this is the only thing I was ever worried about with Fultz and I said it before. He strikes me as a guy who kinda marches to the beat of his own drum and does his own thing.

The feeding frenzy is going to start up here, so Bryan should tamp it down quickly by addressing the media, and then the media need to hold up their end of the bargain and ask probative questions.

Subtracting all the politics behind this situation, I'm actually quite relieved. We have an excuse as to why he wasn't playing up to par, and we can look forward to getting him healthy and playing like the #1 pick.

This is literally the dumbest excuse I've ever seen for Fultz we've all seen his weird shooting motion and him not raising his shoulders along with not taking jumpshots.

The idea that the organization had no knowledge he had a shoulder injury and was receiving treatment is just beyond anger. I mean if they are that incompetent they should be fired ALL OF THEM but it's clear had to know I mean we could see on tv and they are with him everyday.

They need to come clean.

Is there risk of further injury?

Could be but it depends on why it’s inflamed, didn’t he gain some weight this offseason? I wonder if he hurt benching too much weight?

Most shoulder injuries come from repetitive motion over your head, typically bursitis. At his age bursitis would usually come from an injury to his shoulder.

Benching too much or falling with your arm outstretched would be labrum and or rotator cuff, both of those make it painful to raise your arm above your head.

His FT should not look like Barkley’s golf swing, everyone saw it, I don’t care if he complained or didn’t, it’s obvious there’s a problem.

At this point, let the man heal. Yeah I said man, cause he is one right now.

Sixers medical staff sucks. We should know that by now, its not some special secret. There is no conspiracy, he's hurt, get over your own agenda.

We waited on Embiid and Simmons for years, we can give Fultz some time too.

as long as this franchise continues to mishandle injuries, we'll never come close to becoming contender

Thing is, our ownership wasn't trying to take that risk clearly and that's the problem imo.

Makes sense Fultz and his agent decided not to let the team know about it for they dont want to let them sit out fultz

I’m not relieved yet. I’ll be relieved when they have a diagnosis and it doesn’t require surgery.

I knew that the shooting issue was temporary anyway so an injury being the explanation isn’t surprising, or a relief. Once they have a plan, and it isn’t a multi month issue I will be relieved.

If this turns into a torn rotator cuff or something like that then the season would be lost for him. Not that we need him this year particularly, but it would be depressing.

It doesn’t make any sense. If it’s true that they hid this from the team then they should be severely punished.
