Not sure any of these folks woulfd be on the market though.

Maybe one of the Grizzlies

Bane would be ideal. I would offer the three 1sts for him, Mikal, Jimmy, or Ingram. SGA is a pipedream. Murray seems to be fitting and ATL is winning now. Mitchell is TBD. I wouldn't touch Morant, but that's just me.

I think OG is a nice fit, but I don't think he's the player Morey keeps talking about now. He keeps emphasizing someone who can provide offensive creation, which isn't him.

Three firsts for Jimmy? I might go two protected firsts and a pick swap.

I’m definitely rooting for Pelicans to keep losing lol. Want the Ingram /Williamson don’t fit together narrative to get toxic. Something like Ben and Embiid except they’re not winning games. Ingram will be on his final year next season. If this season doesn’t pan out, NO needs to start fielding. Maybe even before the deadline.

I'd probably go two 1sts and two swaps for Jimmy, all unprotected.

Yes hardcore rooting against New Orleans, Brooklyn, and Miami this year
2025-2026 Philadelphia 76ers:

Maxey/McCain/Lowry
Grimes/Edgecombe/Gordon
Oubre/Edwards
George/Watford/Barlow
Embiid/Bona/Drummond/Broome

Pelicans on a 4 game losing streak and have
vs Dal SUN
vs Dal TUES
vs Den FRI
vs Min (back to back) SAT

let the losses pour in. Could be 4-9 by next Sunday.

Would you even do Harris for KAT straight up right now?

I'm not so sure given the contract and fit.

Pros like Pat Riley: monitor bucks situation

I’d like to put some context here to my favorite basketball podcast.

Windy and the guys were talking about how KAT will have a $50m per year contract next year and they think he’d be a bad contract by then. They also dont know how they can sustain the cap of their team. Then they talked about how Wolves has a long history of not paying the tax.

KAT is not good as a top 2 player. $50M a year is really bad as a third option.

Probably have to choose to let go both Conley and Reid for KAT.

I think his fit is fine with Embiid and Maxey. Not sure how he is on defense and if he can defend non-centers; I never watch him. But his volume 3s work better than Tobias’s need to have the ball in his hands. That said, Tobias has been playing a great all around game so far this year.

I doubt the Wolves would even trade Towns right now. Their team is starting to gel & they could be a legit title contender right now. Their double big setup works well against Denver & they have all their major guys on long-term deals.

They’ve got a decent talent prospect pipeline too & their GM is a very good drafter. Just keep building & a trade might not even be necessary.

I’ll be curious to see if their new owners are more willing to pay the luxury tax. I know there were rumors that they were struggling to make the payments needed to take ownership of the team.

I thought I read they had to delay their next payment. Those guys do not seem like taxpayers at all.

The Wolves would be better with Tobias than KAT. However the Sixers would be worse.

It would have to be Towns to Team X
Team X assets and Harris to MIN
Team X assets to Philly

For example:

MIN gets Harris, 24 DET 1st, 24 DAL 1st, 25 MIL 1st, 26 NYK 1st
NYK gets Towns
PHI gets Fournier, Hartenstein, and Grimes

The Clippers are losing to the Grizzlies right now

Like, a team with **** spacing, no rim protection and zero ball handling

Losing by double digits at that.

I'm surprised franchise cornerstone Terance Mann is unable to lift them during these challenging times.

They're coming back without Harden on the line up, but basically is because the Grizzlies cannot shot for ****.

Even if they end up winning this look horrendous for them

edit: Harden still hasn't come back

Didn't saw the floor until 3 minutes left on the 4th. I don't know how much of that he's gonna be able to handle.

And of course, they still lost

It’s amazing watching Denver because Jokic is an unstoppable iso scorer but nobody doubles him because they’re terrified of his passing.

They did it one season… it ended up being statistically the worst possible play for a stretch

Imagine Lebron’s playmaking that shoots lights out and is automatic inside you can never double him at all

If the Nuggets bench gets real improvement from Braun/Nnaji/Watson and Strawther than it’s ggs league for awhile.

Harden 4-12 for 11 points, -28 in 29 minutes of play in a game they lost by 4. Ouch.
