Just woke up, but I got to take care of some business for a while. I'll try to edit as much as I can right now. Haven't read any posts since I left, but I'll read them all when I get back. Just focused on getting the picks situated at the moment.

Gotcha. Guess Trend messed up there. Not a big deal...he'll edit it when he gets up.

Sorry about that, I'll fix it asap.

I have a late 2nd coming up (29) that I got from the Rockets. I will listen to offers about trading it down for anyone who wants to move into the end of the 2nd round. I am looking for a mid 3rd rounder and a 5th or 6th.

I took Favors because I need high character players who are going to want to win. I needed a defensive minded player in the frontcourt when we go to half court sets. Once Favors learns to play in the post offensively there is no telling how good he's going to be. I'm not expecting him to be our go to guy (Irving already is) but I think he can be a 15-17 ppg scorer, especially with a point guard like Irving creating for him. He's going to be able to play either power forward or center on this team in the system Alvin Gentry is running.
Favors ability to defend, rebound, and block shots already makes me wonder why he lasted such a long time in this draft but I am really glad to be able to get him. He was second on my big man list overall!

No chance you would be willing to trade me Favors?

Wizards would be interested in moving up from the early 3d.

3-5, 5-5, and 10-26

for

2-21, 6-11, and 11-20?

Can I get confirmation on something?

I know the following are true.

1. We can draft players who were on an NBA team last year
2. We can draft players who are in the 2012 draft

What about these conditions?

1. Former NBA players who are playing overseas, but not currently tied to an NBA team.
2. Players who were formerly drafted, and NBA rights are owned, but are playing overseas currently.
3. Players who were injured this year, and never played, then finished the season as NBA FA's.

I'm really looking to get a pair of late 2nds (mostly in the hopes of making my picks before I have to go out at 5) rather than just moving up a little in this round. I'd do 2-26 and 5-5 for 2-21, 6-11. and 10-9, though, since I might be able to use 10-9 to move up a bit off of 3-5.

I had a later first/early second round grade on him and the fact that he was still there at well...basically 48 shocked the hell out of me. I'm not trading him because he and Kyrie Irving are basically the building blocks of what i'm trying to put together. So I am sorry man but imma keep him for now.

Thanks, but I don't get why #2 is a no. A guy like Montijunas (sorry for name dropping), who is said to come over next year, can't be drafted, but we can draft a guy who has currently declared for the draft, but can still pull his name out and go back to college.

I get why international free agents like AK-47 can't be added since they don't really have an NBA team, but guys with NBA rights held should be eligible IMO if we can pick guys in this draft even though they have even less link to the NBA at this point.
