Pretty much this. Can get by his guy at ease.

When he's playing off-ball, it seems like LSU always has him cutting back door for a lob.

I really like Jaylen Brown, he reminds me so much of DeRozan

He's drawn 16 fouls in 68 minutes. That's one foul every 4ish minutes

Has good BBIQ

He's #2 on my board right now

Murray is the best scoring prospect in this draft. Will be a top 5 -10 shooting guard easily in the nba. A bigger more disiplined monta ellis. 76ers should be all over him. I am still higher on Ingram over simmons for this team because of his ability to create his own shot, knock down 3s and play defense. Crucial for building around okafor or embiid.

Don't really see the Monta Ellis comparison for Murray. Ellis is extremely quick, Murray is not going to wow anyone with his athleticism (it's solid, but not wow). Ellis also has never been known as a great shooter, Murray is a knock down shooter. And when it comes to Ingram, he's been inconsistent from 3 against higher competition and he may have defensive potential because his length, but he is not known as a defender right now. His man defense at the moment is a huge weakness, don't count on him being a good defender for a long time.

You mean the same Hernangomez who was drafted last year? Or am I missing someone.

Just a theory here but I feel like it is fate for us to lose out on Simmons and watch the Lakers get 1st pick. Monteverde to LSU to the Lakers, all purple and gold teams. The NBA will rig it and it will happen. we are cursed

I dont see how Simmons fits with Okafor honestly, or with Saric, Noel or Embiid, he has to play PF, the guy has no perimeter game.

We take BPA and worry about fit later. Ben has 21, 20, 6 against Marquette right now, future is looking bright for this dude.

Simmons is definitely like Lebron, since both like to pass up the last shot lol.

Fit doesn't matter. Ben has the best chance out of this draft to become a superstar. You take him without thinking twice.

Ben is nowhere close LeBron in terms of athleticism.
He looks like a more assertive Odom, less of an athlete and a shooter though.
Floor could be Diaw, ceiling Hill if he ever gets a perimeter game.
I am not saying that you dont take him, just that long term, is not going to work.

Sure, try to accomplish that drive been defended by an NBA wing with an NBA big waiting downlow, he had Luke Fischer on him, a 7-0 C who is not precisely known for his athleticism.
Simmons is not going to be able to go to the rack unless he plays against bigs or all of the sudden has a knockdown jumper.
Star wing my ass.
