I'm excited for you guys. Simmons is a great choice and should be a great player for your team for many years!

As a Lakers fan I'm super happy we're in position to land a player like Brandon Ingram. I think he's going to take a little longer to be NBA ready than Ben Simmons but I do think he'll develop into a special player also.

Congrats to both of us! Let the good times roll!!

I'm someone who ranked Simmons and Ingram very close. I like Ingram a lot. At this point, there appears to be a big dropoff after 2.

Regarding Lakers and Ingram.

They are in good spot compared to like the 3rd spot and below, where I think most teams are getting cold feet with who they are projected to draft.

Honestly right now, I can't wait for the draft not because of Simmons but I'm just curious on how things will go from 3rd to 7th. Wouldn't be surprise if there'll be a big trade.

I don't buy into that vet issue and culture again. But I also think BS should play with a non ball dominant PG, preferably a combo guard.

I think he was born in Australia but they moved back to Jersey so I don't think he was ever a full blown Australian citizen like Bogut/Simmons were.

I really can't believe there is still people that don't think he can play the 3. I am convinced those are the people that never actually watched him play.
