Yeah, while Tobias is not very good, he still is better at just about everything than Kyle Kuzma. So absolutely no picks.

What a laughably biased statement. Tobias has been an inferior player to Kuzma for years now. Tobias' only advantage is that he gets to play with Embiid so he gets no attention from opposing defenses. This season it's not even close.

This statement is just wrong Tobias is a much better player than Kuzma, A players ability to score is about 35% of a players worth!
Tobias is a much better defender, and has been an NBA iron man. Kuzma hasn’t played more than 68 games in 5 years and he has NEVER been a plus player.

Kuzma still a matador? Check

Kuzma still a mediocre/bad shooter? Check

Kuzma still inefficient? Check

Kuzma still a mediocre rebounder? Check

My only bias is AGAINST Tobias. And yet if Washington wants an upgrade, they would trade Kuzma for Tobias.

Yeah, I can't get behind the idea that Kuzma is the better player. At the very least it's a wash between the two of them, but I'll still take Tobias over Kuzma right now. If Kuzma was BETTER than Tobias Harris, not only would Washington be winning games, but he'd be an all-star. NOW...I'm not saying that Tobias IS or should be an all-star...I'm not saying that...I'm not saying that. I'm simply saying that Tobias has been a borderline all-star player at times throughout his career. Better than Tobias Harris at the power forward position in this league would be all-star. Kuzma is neither. If Tobias Harris was playing for the Wizards he'd be putting up PPG numbers in the 20s similar to what Kuzma is doing. That's obviously not going to be difficult considering how awful Washington is.

This also doesn't mean that I think Tobias Harris is better than what he is. We ALL know what Tobias Harris is and isn't at this point. No need for me to rehash that.

No sexy deals, but if Morey could pull this off I’d be pretty ecstatic.

Covington, ‘26 OKC 1st and ‘24 2nd to Bulls for Caruso

Morris, Springer, Korkmaz, ‘24 2nd, ‘28 2nd and ‘29 2nd to Jazz for Olynyk and Horton-Tucker

Maxey
Caruso
Tobi
Batum
Jo
Melton, Oubre and Olynyk all play 18+ mins off the bench. Reed, Horton-Tucker and Pat Bev clean up whatever mins are left.

How about just Morris and three 2nds for Gary Trent? Throw in Springer if Masai continues to insist on doing his best Ainge impression.

Hawks looking to move off Capela & Hunter potentially. I’d be kinda intrigued by a deal that brings both of them to Philly for Tobias.

We’d have to give up on our 3rd star dreams but we’d get a Tobi replacement + an elite backup center who can catch lobs from Maxey during bench unit minutes.

Never gonna happen because spending $20M of our cap space on a backup center is ridiculous but the roster fit for both would be good.

Based on what exactly?

Worse defender, less efficient, less of a bag on offense in general. I'm not really sure what you'd say he does better other than being a more willing 3 point shooter.

I mean, he's scoring more, but that's because he's a high usage player on an awful team.

It would need to be a 3 way deal where for whatever reason the 3rd team doesn't want him... But I'd offer a star level package for Trey Murphy if he came on the market for whatever reason.

Perfect 3rd banana with what I think is all star level upside.

What do you think about Orlando?

Sixers get: Suggs
Orlando gets: Springer, Martin, Korkmaz, 2026 Rd 1 OKC, 2028 Rd 1 LAC

Don’t think the #4 seed is going to trade a key piece to their team for future 1sts.

Well, let's call Morey and see what he can do. You want to get on that for us?

Tobi + Martin +26 OKC first + 29 first pick swap + two 24 seconds for Grant + Thybulle

Just go ahead and shoot me.

I get sick just thinking of actually paying to bring that franchise killer in here. In one fell swoop Morey will have finished off this group as a serious contender. He just can't be that dumb.

Morey isn't that stupid as far as LaVine goes.

The Tyus Jones rumor doesn't really make sense either. Not saying I wouldn't want him here, but he's not looking to play just 12 minutes a night and he's a terrible fit if you try and pair him with Maxey for any length of time. I get looking at point guard options, but it'll have to be a bigger guard... Almost a combo guard (if that term still exists). If we didn't have Maxey, I'd be all about Tyus Jones, but it doesn't make sense from a size/fit perspective. Not on a Nick Nurse roster.

I agree. For the regular season it will be a welcomed addition, but in the play-offs we will be running 95% of our possessions through Embiid and Maxey. If we trade for a player, they have to be able play off those guys and improve/stabilize our defense.

Therefore I'd rather have a two-way wing player that can offer some secondary playmaking than a true PG who's undersized. A Gordon Hayward/Alex Caruso kind of player.
