It's only that bad because every team aside from Saltics is crippled wth injuries. Fully (or mostly) healthy Sixers, Bucks, Knicks, Heat and even Pacers would give them problems. Sadly every one of those teams lost their top players before or during the playoffs.

Full-strength Dallas has a great chance to knock them off in the Finals.

Injuries are kind of killing the sport. I hope this is an anomaly year.

Luka is gonna hunt those Celtics bigs for sport in the finals. I can’t wait to see them lose while Al Horford gets cooked.

So true - really it's all sports, but especially the NBA and NFL.

They really need Lively to be back. He has become a huge part of what they do.

Dante Exum contributing on a championship-caliber team.

What timeline is this?

Wolves have a really interesting cap dilemma on their hands amidst their chaotic ownership situation. I will be very curious if everyone will get on board to pay the tax penalties this team will start to incur.

I could see it being like a divorce situation where each parent spoils the kids trying to win their affection. Each ownership group will advocate spending money because they want to win so the fans should take their side.

We almost drafted Exum in 2014

A supposed to be basketball phenom injury prone big guard with a suspect jumpshot.

That would have been a textbook 76ers pick.

We dodged a bullet there.

Only to draft Fultz a few years later on. Only difference is Fultz's injury was in his shoulder and head. And Exum is contributing. Fultz on the other hand not so much. But it's just the 76ers doing 76ers things.
You want it to be one way....but it's the other way.

If Dallas wins a chip and Kyrie plays this way in the finals, I’m curious what the legacy talk will be with him.

I mean, he has to be top 30 all-time at that point right?

Kyrie won a championship for his drafting team. That feat right there puts him in greatness.

His major legacy flaw other than being an idiot is allowing his franchise to get hijacked by mercenary LeBron and then bailing on the Cavs out of frustration.

His legacy could have been legendary if he just stayed in Cleveland.

Kyrie’s legacy will always be a what if. A combination of injuries & his own ego/stupidity derailed a potentially all time great career. But he’s still a top 50 player of all time despite it all.

I think he took what he learned from Cavs and Nets to Mavs. Luka is playing that LeBron role while he understands the importance of the lob threat which was prevalent with the Nets.

He's not that great. He's a good iso player and that's about it. Bad defender, nothing to write home about as a passer or rebounder. Kyries come around often. And the guy is a total loser player. Dude took a game off to go on a zoom chat. If I were an NBA player I could never play with a guy like that again. No dedication to his team. Not to mention all the other crap he pulled. I'm just not a Kyrie fan. Never will be. Nice offensive player, but meh.

Kyrie and Luka have to make Al Horford dance the entire series.

Hunt then kickout or lob.
