:D fixed

Maybe that's a bit too much considering the age but this is pretty good still in the EC where no one has a 1-5.

Holiday/Iguodala/Young/Brand/Bogut >>>Holiday/Meeks/Iguodala/Young/Bogut

I think Holiday and everyone else would obviously improve with a center around.

So why even trade Holiday if the 2 lineups you're comparing both include him?

And what makes you think CP3 or Deron would want to come play with Iguodala and Bogut as their 2 sidekicks when they can go play with Dwight or even Melo / Amar'e?

Doesn't seem to make any sense for one of those guys to come play with that team when there will be so many other options.

U misunderstand the previous post was nixing the PHX trade and relying on Holiday's internal improvement and the 2 lineups only had PHI acquiring Bogut.

who knows I think if the Bulls beat the Heat people will start to see a team with 1-5 is better than "sperstars" and filler

Bogut would likely just replace Hawes in our lineup. The floor spacing of that first team would be dreadful. I don't see much reason for Young to be starting. He and Lou should remain in their bench roles.

I'll pass on Bogut.

Iggy, Speights, and Nocioni for Jamison and Varejao. Cavs don't need Jamison with HIckson playing well.

Jrue, ET, Jamison, Brand, and Varejao.

Wow that's terrible. Really, really bad. You think Jamison can still play SF? You clearly haven't seen him the last few years.

Unless Hickson is in the trade that's a terrible deal. Too many trades on here where the Sixers get the short end of the stick. Can we begin seeing some semi homer trades please? :D

I'll start it off.

Iguodala for Rudy Gay

Evan Turner + Lou Williams for Al Jefferson

C Al Jefferson
PF Elton Brand
SF Rudy Gay
SG Jodie Meeks
PG Jrue Holiday

SF Thad

That will probably be the best half court offense the Sixers have had since Doc was in uniform.

^ I could see Al Jeff moving. I think his contract pretty big though so prob impossible.

Memphis should be dealing someone this summer. OJ Mayo most likely.

I could realistically see us trading Iggy for Mayo + someone else.

The main piece is getting a center at a decent price and getting a salary dump. Maybe Cavs will throw in a first too. But i wanted to get Varejao to play center. And Jamison comes off the books in one year. Jaminson can play the role of Thad and come off the bench at 3/4. Jrue, Meeks, ET, Brand and Vareajao.

not sure the grizz would want to add that much salary, especially with a resigned Randoplh and Gasol likely commanding a min of 10 million a year.

plus after tony allen's performance when gay went down...i dont see them moving him.

does memphis own someone elses first round pick? we would need more than mayo in a deal for iguodala.. mayo is a bit undersized as a starting SG and doesnt play D, but he can shoot and score.. id want more than just him for iguodala though

Yeah but Mayo was the 3rd overall pick and was one of the best high school basketball players ever. What he's done in the NBA till this point doesn't matter as much as that. It doesn't matter that he wasn't good enough to make Team USA but Iguodala was. It doesn't matter that Iguodala is a better finisher around the basket and is a better passer while Mayo has never even shot 40% from 3.

I didn't get it also. But Mayo is a decent SG. Not an all-star, but neither is Iggy. Iggy can't shoot as well as OJ or score as well. But OJ to me is more of a middle of the pack SG. They would have to give us more then just him. WIth and Meeks we would be ok at SG. ANd with them we could unload Lou WIlliams.

i think Turner is best suited @ the SG... so Mayo kinda off-sets that.

but if we could get someone with upside, like Mayo on there rookie deals for Iggy...we'd have to consider it.

that being said... Randolph/Gasol/Iggy/Gay... would be a hell of a payroll.

Mayo and Allen has a more positive effect on their team than Iggy. And not to mention that it's a cheaper alternative and both guys fit better with Gay.
