I don’t think Porzingis is going to be a meaningful contributor with that injury. That’s going to require the off-season to fully heal

I really like this Mavs team, hope they can finish the job.

Amazing how impactful and important Lively is to what they do, just shows that the right rookie can contribute immediately.

I really think the Mavs are going to win the series. They have a massive advantage with their bigs against old man Horford & injured KP. Luka is significantly better than Tatum obviously & the Mavs have a coaching advantage.

This series could come down to how effective Kyrie is against the defensive combo of Jrue, Derrick White, and Brown but he will find a way to score.

Hell will freeze over before this franchise trusts a rookie with playing time

Even Maxey was forced to play because of the Ben drama. He’d still be buried had it not been for that.

I don't know how its possible but Luka Doncic is under-rated. He should have been second in the MVP award, not sure he even got one 2nd place vote, and we have morons like Steven A. Smith saying Jaylen Brunson should have been first team All-NBA instead of him. Also one of the best, if not the best, clutch players in the NBA. I personally think the Celtics are in for a rude awakeing. Those western teams are playing at a different level then the dreck the Celtics have faced. Mavs in 6.

Putting aside my Sixers bias, these are both entertaining, relatively complete teams and it should be a good series. People dismiss Boston for their easy route to the Finals, but they proved all year they are a quality team.

And even when Maxey was playing well Doc wanted him coming off the bench. SMH

And when questioned about it he said that Maxey requested to come off the bench.

I try not to think about it, but it still blows my mind that Glenn was allowed to destroy three seasons here. I mean, if the Atlanta series didn't tell the story in blinking red neon letters, maybe a tire iron to the head would have gotten the message through.

Tatum with 8 points. Tough to beat all those single coverages.

This was either going to be close and competitive PR OR Boston was going to blow their doors off. It's one game. Dallas will bounce back, but Boston does look unstoppable.

Watching Doncic iso with 4 teammates standing and watching is giving me playoff Embiid PTSD.

What was a bigger ripoff, Celtics getting Poringis (and picks) or Mavs getting Kyrie for not much?

Porzingis is a guy. He's only hyped because Boston acquired him. He's a decent role player. If the Grizzlies acquired him no one would be hyping up the move.

Cant wait to read you explain how Boston really isn’t that much better than the Sixers after they win this championship.

All you do is shill the Celtics and trash Embiid, you might as well just change your team logo to a Celtics logo, it’s pretty obvious you’re a Celtics fan.

Probably Porzingis. Kyrie completely controlled his own value. If he chose to focus on basketball, he's an elite guard. If he wants to disrupt, he's elite at that too.

It's one game, and the Mavs had that 29-pt. lead down to six at one point. The Celtics are a different team with Porzingas on the floor, that's for sure, and Kyrie was a no-show.

Turned it off late in the 1st quarter, started again after the half, then shut it off after the 3rd. Listening to that screaming PA announcer, those obnoxious fans, and Doris essentially going down verbally on Jason Tatum for his greatness "even when not scoring" was just too much to take.
