I think for role-players, 3PAr might be more important. Ideally, you don't want role-players attempting many field goals and taking possessions away from your stars. KCP's 3PAr is right where you want a role-player's to be at over 50%.

That was my initial thought too but they have to max Jalen and Chet in 2 years, so unless they’re part of the package I don’t see them committing to 4 max players long-term. Unless they are just trying to sneak in the chip this year.

Houston seems like a legitimate threat though.

Picks have no value anymore. It's a sellers market. We can either wait for the market to turn the other way and not get a guy, or pay the price. But that's the value of picks vs. players right now.
