Ehhh. Dnt kno much about Turner.

Adelman is a good coach tho so maybe he took so ething from him.
All in all I'd much rather see laimbeer thibodeau marjele or budenholzer

doug collins first choice is us....not the bulls..that much i know.

we will see how it goes with turner tomorrow....I dont thihk Avery Johnson is a finalist here.

I think he is jonesing for NO still...with the Bulls as his backup plan or even the nets.

I still hope this is some sick revenge from Snider to make Stiff pay for ruining the franchise. Let him interview 20 candidates, then right before he hires someone, you fire him and hire someone not even on his radar. That would be so fitting for that loser.

But that would only happen if Snider still paid attention to this franchise. Which he doesn't. Because we all know that no one is running this franchise right now. Especially not when the Flyers are in the playoffs.

I hate avery. Post game he is talking about how Lebron is a better fit for NJ with Devin Harris than in Chicago with Rose. Doesn't make any sense (seriously, compare the two rosters), and it is just aimed at talking up a team he is interviewing with. He did the same with us last year in the postseason, I just don't believe a word he says is genuine.

It could be Tina Turner for all I care...Ed is making me nervous. They did their research to find candidates of interest, interview about 10 people after said research, and are still no closer to a decision. We need the Flyers series to end so Snider can remember they own and NBA franchise (not that they care about it) Ed can be fired, and the new GM can hire a coach. This is just silly.

I think the Nets might be the dark horse. They have a new billionaire owner, 30M in cap space, a PG, a legitimate center, the likely #1 or #2 pick, & then role players in CDR. Lee, Yi & Terrence Williams. To me, this has to be a situation that LBJ looks at. I'd guess after that Celts loss that he'd want to play with another star & Chicago has Rose but that #1 or #2 pick could produce another one & this roster is well rounded going into the future.

Chicago has a better core to build around than the Nets, although I do like Lopez + a high pick (say Wall or Turner). Star players win, and Rose is by far the biggest star in the Bulls/Nets discussion...pair him Lebron, and on any given night you have an edge on star power. Add Noah's length/energy, Deng and Hinrich are nice pieces around him as well as Gibson and Miller who give some decent depth inside. If he is looking for team success, that is a pretty easy choice.

off topic, but Chicago is even more appealing if they can pull off a sign and trade for Bosh while also bringing in Lebron. Lebron, Rose, Noah, Bosh is a nice place to start.

Does Chicago have enough cap to sign two max? Well, if they do.....then yeah Lebron and Bosh would be nice. I also think they should think about a sign and trade to bring back Ben Gordon if that happens (unlikely but would be entertaining).

In the case of Collins, I wonder if they're considering some sort of LB contingency. That is to say if he burns out they've got a strong assistant coach in place to take over and maybe Collins moves into a front office position. He's no spring chicken either...

The Atlanta Hawks have fired head coach Mike Woodson. Officially add him to the list.

I feel bad for Mike Woodson. I feel like his firing is 1) Damage control and 2) stupidity at it's greatest level.

No other head coach would lead THAT roster to 53 wins. So Josh Smith/Al Horford/Marvin Williams isn't a front-court. It's a joke! It was the worst front-court by far in this year's eastern conference and it's one of the worst we've seen a "contender" pull out in some time. Can anyone tell me of a worse front-court?

Mike Woodson had this team, with no front-court, with limited support.(It was really the Johnson/Crawford show) to 53 wins!

Hire Mike Woodson damn it, that's overachieving in Larry Brown-esque level.

Funny thing is, watch Mike "I hug LeBrons nuts" Brown keep his job.
