I might consider it if we were getting picks, but aren't the Bulls deluding themselves into believing someone will actually pay to get Lavine?

The reaction to this Caruso trade has been funny. You'd think the Thunder just traded for 26 year old Gary Payton.

I don't hate the idea of Ingram, I just didn't like what I saw from him in the postseason. There could be a lot of reasons why it went the way it did. Maybe OKC sold out just to stop him because that's all New Orleans had in that series. The thing I do like about Ingram is that he fills a major void at the wing position. If our offseason consists of drafting JaKobe Walter, signing Kentavious Caldwell-Pope, and trading for Brandon Ingram, then I will fully support that. We would have acquired more youth with our draft pick, KCP is a vet, but a good, stable piece next to Maxey, and Ingram's age fits perfectly with Maxey and Embiid.

I would not sign OG for 30+ mil. Not that great and often injured. Would not sign KCP for 20+ mil.

Mikel Bridges or Lauri...secondary option would be Dejounte...Then I would look at Ingram....I like John Collins.

Plenty of good non star options out there. I've said from the beginning, I'd rather have two good players over paying PG or trading for Jimmy.

moreso that the Bulls turned down two firsts for him for a play in run to trade him for a guy who was unplayable in the playoffs

Ingram would also have the lowest usage of his career here. I think he could improve efficiency when not being asked to do as much, but he’s still a good enough playmaker to keep things moving. He also might welcome a change of scenery. Of course, it all depends on what he costs, and I’m also assuming none of the big name FAs will want to come here.

The only better news would be the Lakers announcing a James extension and their intent to draft his son in the 1st round.

That's not really true. Most of the comments have been about the value exchange.
