They are so much better than us that they needed to win at the buzzer at home for the first two. Teh last one they flat out needed to rob us of a win with 4 bogus ft's.

Just full of excuses aren't you? The fact is the Knicks are garbage and are the worst defensive team in NBA history, and you couldn't outscore them in your own building. Billups hit a big shot. I know that is a shock to you, since you aren't used to them with Lebron on your squad, but that's what happens. It should have never come to that. How's that great defense by the way? Aren't they supposed to get big stops in big moments?

Again, you can stop with the insults. I am an adult and I TRYING to speak to you as if you are one as well. You are in no position to talk about ANYBODY's basketball knowledge since it is YOU and not ME that is becoming a celebrity online due to your ridiculous pronouncements in this thread.

Insults? There have been no insults here. Get off your high horse with the "adult" garbage while you're at it. I don't care how adult you think you are or how adult you want to come off as on the internet for your bandwagon fans over on the Heat boards. Like I said, I welcome this "celebrity" status and will take all comers because Heat fans just don't have the basketball acumen to debate with me. As you are proving right here.

This is just ignorant. Right down to who is the Heat's starting point guard. Bibby is only starting due to Chalmers injury. There is not one person that will agree with your assessment of the Heat's defense. Since you don;t care about stats (how convenient) then I guess you don;t want to hear about Def. Winshares that prove you wrong on EVERY count in this quote. Bibby however is not very good defensively. You are right about that...but he is NOT the Heat's starter. He is a 15 minute a game guy off the bench. He is only starting due to injury.

Chalmers isn't anything special defensively either. The fact still remains that Bosh can't defend, Anthony can't defend, Bibby can't defend, Lebron can't defend, Miller can't defend, House can't defend, Jones can't defend. You have one good defensive player on YOUR WHOLE TEAM.... if you want to call it a team. I think it's a disgrace to the word personally. Teams play together. Not one on one playground-style basketball.

Garbage? they are favored to win the rest of the games. So 60 wins is within reach. 60 win team= Garbage. OKAY.

Ooohh, they are favored are they? Weren't they favored against the Knicks too? What happened there. The Heat are awful this year against the spread. One of the all-time worst among playoff teams. They are well below .500 if you talk to big-time bettors in Vegas.

The #2 spot is fine. good enough for the #2 spot which is not bad. Certainly not "garbage".

The Heat kind of are though and it will be proven in the playoffs.

What? So your theory is that ESPN is making up attendance numbers and Brokers are purposely losing money by buying tickets that will never be sold? Interesting theory.

again. the arena is packed, night in and night out. There is video/pictures of it.

Doctored, photoshopped, edited, etc etc.

I think everybody on this board knows WHO is lying here. You keep making these hyperbolic statements and you think they help to drive your point home (They "NEVER" sellout...when they sellout every game) yet, all they serve to do is to make you sound deranged.

Yet, you still can't refute them with facts. How does it feel to be owned by someone you consider "deranged" right now? I'm guessing it will feel similar to the feeling you'll get when the Heat get bounced out of the playoffs and all your bandwagon fans go back to not caring about sports. Hey, maybe the Marlins will be able to have more than 2,000 fans at a game this year!

WB your actually getting obliterated in this argument. From an unbiased perspective.

Westbrook is in the wrong here, but if you Heat fans think you can log onto your alt accounts and start trolling us, there's going to be a problem.

I invited them to come. I was honestly hoping more would come because they are going to need a pack to keep up with me in a debate about the overrated Miami Heat.

and when the Heat get knocked out of the playoffs, I am going to troll all their boards like no one has ever seen, so I'm fine with a little trolling here from them right now.

Not an Alt account. I read the Heat's opponents blogs to learn from those that follow their teams more closely. I read realgm all the time, found this and couldn't help but laugh. I write for another Site.

But when somebody is just blatantly talking out of his ass, and flat out making stuff up while giving or allowing for NO credit whatsoever. I was intrigued.

When I saw him saying that the #2 ranked defense in the NBA was terrible. I was compelled to post.

You can say Lebron is overrated. Fine. The Heat overrated? want to believe that? fine.

But, the things this guy says are just comical. He is intentionally saying the opposite of what is accepted fact and common opinion, and....IT SEEMS THAT HE ACTUALLY BELIEVES IT!

The conspiracy theories are the icing.

THE HEAT IS PHOTOSHOPPING CROWD PHOTOS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! He really SAID THAT!

Not to respond to that last ridiculous diatribe...

but I will on one thing.

The Heat record against the spread.

The Miami Heat has the #2 largest point differential in the league. (another fact)

So obviously, why don;t they cover more? Well, because Vegas makes them such ridiculous favorites in every game, because the betting pressure from the betting public is always heavy on the Heat.

So even when he makes a point that is half true, he is actually hurting his own argument.

JUST LOL at you guys having to put up with this guy.

The Heat have the worst record against the spread in the NBA and their point differential against playoff teams is the worst of all playoff teams. Like I said. Not just overrated, but the most overrated team in sports history. There hasn't been another team for as long as sports have been around that got the hype, but just wasn't that good.

You still can't name me more than one better than average defender on the Heat. I gave you Wade. Other than that, there isn't one. In an unofficial poll, GMs and players around the league rated Lebron James as a poor defender. So while you say things like "accepted facts" not everything is how you see it.

I'm just scratching the surface on the Heat too. I'm saving the meat and potatoes for when I troll the Heat boards after they get eliminated in the playoffs.

LOL.

Stop making stuff up dude. Nothing you just posted is true or even verifiable since it doesn't exist!

GM's and players voted Lebron a bad defender? LOL. (Unofficial poll you made up)

NBA HEAD COACHES VOTE for the ALL-NBA defensive team. They have voted Lebron James on the first team two years running. So, enough, stop it already.

You want me to name above average defenders on the Heat? What's the use? You think Lebron **** James is a bad defender! Magic Johnson was a terrible passer. Julius Erving couldn't dunk. Larry Bird was black.

Most overrated team in SPORTS HISTORY!!!! LOL. As far as I can see, everybody keeps picking the Bulls or Celtics to win the east, so I don't see how they can be overrated.

Now, those same Vegas oddsmakers you keep talking about..well they think it will be a Lakers-Heat Finals, we shall see.

BTW, that garbage Heat team tonight was the first team since 1961 (That is 50 years ago) to have three guys go for 30 and 10 in regulation.

Yep, they suck!

I still think Boston is the best match-up now.Lebron,Wade and Bosh will be too much to handle when it's playoff time.

119 points tonight to the mediocre Rockets.

Great defense.

I feel like I'm watching a stray dog being beaten with a baseball bat. I want to intercede and help as much as I want to walk the other way... yet here I sit unable to do anything but watch and shudder.

You are just precious.

Yes, they gave up 119 points to Houston, they scored 125 in a win. (Kevin Martin hit a buzzer beater for a crowd pleasing 6 point loss)

Just like the #1 defensive team, the Bulls gave up 116 to Houston as well. 115 to Phoenix, 120 to New York, 118 to Toronto, 115 to Indiana...etc..

it's called the NBA season you boob.

Oddly enough, that broke a string of 8 consecutive games allowing less than 100 points.

I know that it feels as if I am just beating on a defenseless injured dog at this point, but it's too fun.

They were playing pretty well. Five straight wins. They'd gone over 100 in 16 of their previous 20 games, including 131 in their last outing. Sometimes games are gonna be like that. We expected it to be high scoring though.

Meanwhile you just gave up 114 in a loss to the Kings. Does that solidify your assertion that you're going to shutdown the Big 3?

FWIW, I really like the Sixers.

That team in 61 lost to the Warriors. Wilt had 52 and 30 in that game.

Wilt is still unbelievable after all this time. I still think he's the greatest ever, although I only caught the tail end of his career. No one individually stood over and above the competition like him. In my opinion, not even MJ. Certainly not Kobe Lebron and Wade (nothing against Laker/Heat).
