Done with this team.
Rooting for them to fail.

Re: Sam Hinkie steps down per Marc Stein
people are emotional right now and I understand that.
but I think it's important to remember that Hinkie accomplished the difficult part of the rebuild. He pretty much did the grunt work.
It sucks that another GM is going to get the credit, but whatever I'm a Sixers fan first not a Sam Hinkie fan.

Re: Sam Hinkie steps down per Marc Stein
Honestly, they likely insulted him by essentially saying they want someone to "hold his hand".
He probably said, F this I'm out. Good for him.

Yup I would leave too. Bringing in Jerry then you want to bring in someone else to steal a peice of the pie? That is an insult to anyone in any line of work.

Yes but a couple idiotic short sighted moves can blow all the work to the ground instantly.

Wow, this is the end of it all man. We're gonna be looking like Phoenix real quick, I'll stick around to watch the city burn but I'm out.

Nepotism and racism, quite the pairing.

If LA drafted Okafor bet this doesn't happen.
That pick ruined Hinkie's career.

I think people believe that the next GM will come in and sell the house for next to nothing, which is not a very logical thing to think. Hinkie did a great job getting us assets and now we're going into next season ready to beat our chest a little.

The Hinkie part isn't ideal, the BC part is disgusting. He is a half step above Billy King. If we end up with Ferry this is less horrific.
They say an analytics man doesn't have a heart, but I ran the numbers and nothing can be further from the truth - Sam Hinkie probably

Hate the Coangelos. Bryan has never earned a thing in his life and gets his jobs thanks to daddy. This will not be good.

Better off hiring Nash as HC.

Bryan Colangelo and DANNY FERRY?!?!
The same Danny fing Ferry that couldn't put a non-dying star next to LeBron in the height of his career (which prompted him to leave for Miami)?
Why are they making this FO impossible to like now?

more upset that Bryan freaking Colangelo is coming in.
Hinkie sort of brought this on himself. I'm frustrated that he didn't fully understand the PR aspect of being a GM. If he had, we might not be in this position today.
You could see Hinkie was gone a couple months ago. We have just have to hope the ownership group is smart enough to not bring in BC.

Hinkie: SO Jerry, Im thinking Ben Simmons or Brandon Ingram in the draft what are your thoughts?
Jerry: zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz
Hinkie: Um Jerry, your napping again?
Jerry: zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz (Cat jumps up and ends Skype conference call)
Hinkie: F this job.

Lets not act like all of Hinkie's moves were good ones.
