Not exactly sure how to search tweet history on Twitter, but I wonder if he has deleted this ...

I'm sure it'll be fun basketball to watch no doubt. I'm also completely ok with him leaving okc. To leave and go to the team that just came back from a 3-1 deficit to go to the finals against you is kind of lame sauce. Especially with his feelings about super teams in the past.

I'm just looking at it as a basketball fan that might get to see some really cool historic stuff.

Hopefully OKC would be willing to match any offer to Waiters now to keep what assets they have remaining, which is a plus for us.

And I guess I could have taken that same approach to when the big 3 hooked up in Miami, but I didn't hear anyone guaranteeing anything this time. Let alone more championships then Michael freaking Jordan and Scottie Pippen.

I hope KD completely ruins Golden State's chemistry

Lol at the butthurt fans on the Boston board because he didn't choose their team. They are so high and mighty saying they wouldn't entertain signing Durant next summer if he opted out

Did Celtics made a big mistake with the gamble on Horford? Didn't the move was a high risk gamble to lure KD? 5 years max for Horford?

It probably was. But I still think they have the assets to go after Westbrook/Butler/Noel or Okafor.

Which could give them the 2nd best team in the east (or maybe the best).

Their situation has changed dramatically with Horford now. They need to contend the next 2-3 years.

No need for developping Jaylen Brown/Rozier/Young ...

Probably business as usual. Treadmill at the playoffs then playing lottery at FA and draft during the offseason.

Probably right, but at this point every team but GS and Cleveland is treadmilling.

Curious - why do you think the Celtics window shrank by signing Horford? He was a free agent so they didn't give up assets. They can be competitive in the non-Cavs/Warriors division and they still have the Nets picks for the next two years.

If anything, Durant signing in GS has put winning a championship so far out of reach that it puts less pressure on them to give up long term assets for short term gain.

We choose the perfect time to tank. This new NBA is so unpredictable.

the suns just created a worse logjam then ours?

PG:
Bledsoe, Barbosa, Knight, Ulis
SG: Booker, Goodwin, Jenkins?

you would think barbosa was brought in to be in the 2nd unit not 3rd string?

They have so many players.

C- Len/Chandler
PF- Bender/Chriss
SF- Tucker/Warren/Budinger
SG- Booker/Jenkins/Goodwin
PG- Bledsoe/Knight/Barbosa/Ullis/Price

If they want roster balance like the Sixers do, I could see a PG for C trade being done.

Budinger and Price are free agents, Jenkins is non-guaranteed but only makes 15.

It's really:
PG- Bledsoe/Knight/Ullis
SG- Booker/Barbosa/Goodwin/Jenkins (ung)
SF- Tucker/Warren
PF- Dudley/Bender/Chriss
C- Len/Chandler/A. Williams

Phoenix doesn't have any long-term piece at guard that I want.

- Booker is not being made available.
- Bledsoe is a medical risk.
- Knight doesn't play defense and isn't good enough of a piece.

I would rather have him at 12.5m a year than Bayless at 9m a year.

A 4th year for a guy that's never played more than 36 games in a season is aggressive though. If he doesn't work out that's a long time to pay for a mistake.

Ezeli to Portland. The market for Okafor is drying up...pretty much everyone who needed a center has acquired one. Who still needs one? HOU, LAL, and BOS? He seems destined to end up a Celtic.

Edgecombe/Grimes/Gordon
