I've been lurking the board since I was in Jr High. Sneaking some juicy rumors while in computer class. Been a fan since the Kenny Thomas and Marc Jackson days. The 1st round upset of the Bulls and the 43-39 season with Jim O'brien are two of my favorite moments as a Sixers fan. I can get pretty defensive over my 76ers.

Long time fan, 2nd account on the board. Don't remember any of the login info, but I was active during the Iverson/Iggy era. Kind of grew away from the NBA between 2011-2015, but I've been lurking quite a bit over the past few months and figured I might as well make another account.

Just out of curiosity, how many of you guys used 'Protrade' back in the day? Miss it...

Anyways - here's to the start of something big!

In 2002, RealGM's trade checker lead me here after we fail to beat the Lakers. I think my first post was about Mutombo for Odom.

Been here more than a decade. Always like to rebuild this team. People hate me for wanting to go full hinkie during Iggy days. I don't mind trading Iggy for a pick and capspace to get Durant in 2006.

Went thru the Van Horn to Cwebb. To that team when we want to be pistons 2.0 of Andre Miller-Iggy-Thad-Eb42-dalembert. To Evan Turner and making it to the 2nd round of the playoffs. Then the beautiful disaster of the Bynum deal. In between Bynum and Hinkie era, I went across the globe to watch the Sixers live and posted a thread with pictures of my experience to watch a game live.

Now we're here. Got the rebuilding style I wanted,we got our bigs and ironically our best player plays like Odom.

Cycle is done. It's time to win.

I am a member of this board for more than a decade. I signed up when I was still in middle school. Time flies! Prior to the NBA league pass there was only scarce game time info and I looked for avenues where I could interact with fellow fans. After all, my place has not been too much into basketball yet but this may gradually change after the arrival of the first Austrian NBA player.
Over time, this message board proved to be a great source of information. If I was not crazy enough to stay up late to follow the live ticker (and in the process going to school with 3 hours of sleep, imagine that!), I scrolled through live game threads in order to get a good sense of how the game evolved. I didn't dare to go nba.com and see the results with a blink of an eye.
Starting to become a fan of the Sixers AFTER the NBA finals 2001, I had to endure years of mediocrity where were seemingly stuck in a loop. In my 15 years of fandom, advancing to the second round in 2012 was the biggest success I have experienced before disaster struck with the Bynum fiasco. However, this proved to be a blessing in disguise as we were finally forced to embark on a rebuild. Finally, things appear to change for good and we have a great foundation to be a successful team again. Thanks Sam Hinkie for making all this happen and don't mess it up, BC!

Trade checker brought me here as well during the 02-03 season. I initially joined in 2004 I think, and started posting on the reg during the Iguodala rookie season. I'm pretty much 50/50 on lurker/poster. The longtime members know the name i'm sure. I remember the Prerak poster, smart basketball mind for sure. I remember Dedicated, Ricky Pryor, Jemagee, Bubbachuck, PAClippersFan, KrazySixersD....Lots of personalities.

Shout out to some of the vets on here,

Hi,

I'm a Warriors fan... have been since 2008 when I first worked lived in San Fran for a brief period (They also wore the same colors as my Australian Football League team) . I am from and live in Australia. I became a fully fledged Warriors fan when Andrew Bogut was traded for Monta Ellis.

I had intended on Philly being my 2nd team... now that Ben Simmons is there. I've been following Simmons since he was 14... and the guy is going to be an absolute star.

That is changing fast though.

I fell in love with the Warriors as I watched them develop from a bunch of misfits to a championship team and loved every minute of cheering on the underdog. We won a ring and it was the greatest feeling in the world. Then things started changing and I started falling out of love with them. Draymond Green I despise with an absolute passion... even though he was on my team I hated his antics and thought he would cost us a ring one year. That's exactly what he did this year.

Now what the Warriors have done in getting Kevin Durant... quite frankly makes me sick. They've blown up a 72-9 team to fit in a guy that was ring chasing. It goes against everything I believe in sport. Now that the team is being gutted and Bogut has been traded... the last few weeks I have lost the passion... especially knowing that certain guys within the group were actively trying to get Durant knowing it means their teammates would have to go to.

So as far as I am concerned... Ben Simmons has come into the league at the right time and for a team I can love. Already I can see myself watching every 76ers game... and I think I may cross over to the Philly side... hopefully for at least the next 15 years!!

MountainDrew checking in from europe. Been a fan of the sixers since Doug Collins 1st season. Why? No idea, just kind of am. I have a Jrue Holiday jersey, so there's that.

Think I started actively posting right around when we made the Bynum trade. Kind of been inconsistent posting here, taking a break from this BS is a good idea at times, but I'm really excited again now that BC isn't screwing stuff up right away! WIll try to post some more.

Checking in from sunny Malta. My first and only Sixers game that I went to was against the Pacers in December '08. Granger and Brand were injured. TJ Ford knocked down the winner with 3 seconds to go. How fun!
