Killed it against SAC too. His three point shooting prowess has been a huge surprise to me. I watched him often in the Turkish league and never thought he would be able to shoot consistently from pro range so soon.

He's certainly scoring well and there's no doubting his talent, but our offense has pretty much been pass it to Okafor so he can attempt to ISO score against the best post defender in the league.

Even if you replaced Okafor with Embiid in that mindset, I wouldn't be a fan. I'd rather move the ball than have 4 guys stand around and watch.

I totally do not care what your views are. That's your right. However, you show up on the forum and start right on Okafor as if THAT is your agenda. So while IDGAF about your view, it is irritating when you focus on just one player who may or may not even be in our future plans.

Isn't that what forums are for? To talk about who is playing well and who is not? Lol bizarre

No, bizarre is focusing on one specific player and blatantly looking for a reason to trash them, and then falling completely silent and non existent when they play well. If you're going to constantly whiNE about him playing bad, then you need to recognize when he plays well. That's all I'm saying,.
Conversation over....back to the game.

Noel is finally doing the thing I wanted him to do for years...just drive at fools and use your speed and length.

Agree- Okafor has no movement or ability off the ball or as a roller in the pick and roll. His rolls are so lethargic and slow. Makes it easy for the defenders to tag him and recover to their man on the perimeter. He makes no one better.

If his shot ever comes back, I'll be happy it does, but until further notice, I'm no longer going to expect it to anymore.

Danny Green shot 33.2% from 3 last season over 349 attempts. That's 7.3% below his career average. This season he's shooting 44.1%. That's 3.6% above his career average. That's a 10.9% difference between the two seasons. I'm sure there were guys like you last season that thought Green lost his shot.

Covington came into the game 6.2% below his career average over 158 attempts, less than half the sample that Green had last season.

3 point variance is insane.

Agree with this. Hopefully it means we get to resign Covington at a bargain rate on a long-term deal. Say 5 years $50M would be very nice.

Man if Covington signs for that his agent should lose his job. I would like it though.

Both of Okafor and Noel played well with the absense of Embiid :noway:

Also the poor ft of Utah is the reason why we are still in this game.

Your bigs are outplaying ours thus far, and it's not even close. I Like your future with this talent. But seriously, what do you want for Saric?

The real decision the Jazz FO is making is between Continuity, Cap Flexibility, and Cash Considerations.

Sixers basketball. Nothing makes sense.

jah is so perplexing. He can look like hot garbage against Vucci mane or WCS but absolutely beast modes Gobert.

Hayward and first should be enough.

I'm watching this Cle vs Bos game during halftime and man do I wish we could still work out a deal for Marcus Smart. He may not be a lights out shooter yet, but every single time I see a celtics game all he does is make winning basketball plays.

I know you're being sarcastic, but Hayward is likely going to be an unrestricted free agent this offseason. You could make him an offer then, instead of trading assets for half a season of him, after which he could bolt.

How do you feel about your chances of signing him this offseason? I can't see him going anywhere but Boston, as much as I wish we could get him.
