I'm very pleasantly surprised that we were able to get him on to come aboard on our term.

with the exodus to the west... honestly... if healthy.. we could be looking at a top 3 seed... by that I mean 3 seed...

Just gotta cross our fingers for health. Otherwise, nothing but excitement here. Suffering through those 4 years was worth it to get here.

I'm trying to think up a downside to this deal and I just can't think of anything realistic at all.

Most importantly we now have a veteran that can inform our younger players when to take naps.

Just one year? We maintain our cap space to chase bigger FAs next year? A+ signing from BC.

Embiid/Redick podcasts is what I need in my life.

This team is gonna be nasty. Embiid had us playing w/ the advanced stats of a 50 win team. We just added 2 consensus #1 picks and JJ Redick. In this East, I'm trying to get homecourt in the 1st round.
They say an analytics man doesn't have a heart, but I ran the numbers and nothing can be further from the truth - Sam Hinkie probably

I'm seeing no lower than 6th, but as high as 3rd seed.

Cleveland
Boston
Washington
Milwaukee
Toronto

Boston's experience and health advantages are probably the only things they have on the 76ers at this point.

Actually if you ask me which Center I want for my perfect championship caliber team, I will chose Asik hands down

Seriously have no clue why he logs on. Does NOTHING but come here to bitch & complain

If the mods had some guts they would just ban him and move on. There are plenty of good posters on this board, and I think the threshold for banishment is way too high.

It's a really solid signing by BC.

We can safely say the Sixers (assuming health) just jumped New York, Detroit, Chicago, Indiana, Orlando, Atlanta, Charlotte, and Miami. They were already ahead of Brooklyn.

If Hayward signs in Miami they move ahead. Toronto to me is like a toss up, could go either way.

So that leaves Washington, Boston, Milwaukee, and Cleveland. That puts the Sixers as a 5-7 seed. Not bad.

My issue is if they don't extend Covington now, how big of a hit is that to the team? #TTP #waituntilnovember

Charlotte may not be doing things people love, but they might be decent. Think saying we're better then them immediately is a bit premature imo.
