You are basing this on nothing but your negative opinion and have no facts to back that up.

Snoop is the guy that said that Embiid would never be healthy enough to play in the NBA so you have to consider the source.

Hey man, so you think it's possible he plays earlier? Any more updates?

i reached out this morning and havent heard back yet.

i doubt there is anything new to report as he is still doing limited cardio.

Ah, but you think game 1 or 2 are still possibilities?

His last report was that game 1 is unlikely, and Brett Brown said the same thing yesterday. I take that as good news myself because if he wasn't in the ball park they wouldn't be talking about it as a possibility.

So far we have heard that he hasn't had double vision and I think that that has always been the symptom with the most potential to delay his return.

Even if he comes back at game 3, that is still pretty early. We would just really have to hope that we weren't down 0-2 at that point.

That’s a specialty of his, just scream nonsense with no facts to back it up.

I get the feeling that if he's not cleared, Jo will shave his head and play in a Bayless jersey.

this isnt a knee or foot issue, or even a back issue... its a pain tolerance.. playing isn't going to aggravate it or make it worse, only someone hitting him there, and he wears a mask for that

there's no reason he cant play if a mask already fits him(swelling down enough for that )

He played 31 games in his first 3 seasons.

Even though the homers on here screamed that he would absolutely be healthy and ready to go after his 1st season rehabbing.

It’s funny how you remember it that way.

We were hopeful and saying that he COULD be healthy, and you were hammering the fact that he NEVER would.

Now you were proven wrong, and you rationalize it as if WE were the absolutists.

Its all part of the posting record on this site though.

And he has had zero issues with the foot and back over the last 2 years. But, why let the facts get in the way.

There is no way embiid sits and watches in the playoffs he will play the first round.

If Philly beats Milwaukee tonight, gets the third seed and plays Milwaukee in the playoffs, then I can see sitting Embiid at least for the first game. As soon as Philly loses a game to Milwaukee, Embiid will be back in the lineup. Otherwise, if the team can keep beating Milwaukee (or whoever the opponent) without Embiid, then tie that as long as you can. That's my prediction.

I'm not a doctor, but I call BS on him not being able to play game 1 but being ready for game 2 as some speculate. How much is going to change in the span of 2 days?

Games 1 and 2 could be Saturday/Monday.

Or Sunday/Wednesday. Makes a huge difference since having game 2 Wednesday cause that buys embiid 2 more days. By next Saturday April 21. That would be 20 days from surgery.

So depends on 1st playoff schedule

Pretty sure Game 1 is Saturday. Flyers play at home on Sunday. It would be Saturday/Monday, which is why i believe he will miss at least first two games.

Aren't we supposed to be getting a report on Jojo from the team today? These guys really do a great job, not giving out any information...

Jojo mentioned he hopes the NBA allows him to wear the black mask, because the light one reflects the light more, and affects his shooting. I thought the NBA banned black masks... I hope they let him, why would the NBA ban black masks anyway?

Something about making the players less presentable. Same reason they orginally banned kinetic tape. NBA doesn't like things that look sloppy.
