and no, he isn't better than what Dudley was at BC, who was also not a defensive zero and has been a good defender in the NBA btw

Yeah, this isn't going to go well.

1. Paul Pierce and Gordon Hayward are about as mediocre an athlete as you can get.

2. It took Dudley until his senior year to be the player Nolley has been as a 19 year old. Look at Dudley when he was 18-19. He was a role player barely scratching out double figures.

3. Dudley was a terrible defender at BC and a pretty subpar one in the NBA. Your evaluations also told you Coby White was a good defender, right? I think you need to re-evaluate how you judge defense because it's just offbase (no gentler way to say it).

Lol, Oregon's bench trips Powell after he drains a shot and Myles decides to drop 30 on them with 7 minutes left in the game. One of those types of scorers you don't want to piss off.

I don't know how you're doing it, Negro. Those Seton Hall games gotta be brutal to watch given the lack of talent around Powell.

Which is why I wish he went in this past draft. He must be getting horrific advice. He’s NBA ready now and could be a 15 ppg scorer his rookie year. Instead he’s risking injury on a horrific team with no chance of winning it all.

Not watching the game, but presumably Tyrese Haliburton is on Powell and Powell is cooking ISU.

CJ Elleby is looking strong early on.

Tiny or not, Markus Howard is going to be an offensive star in the NBA.

And he's doing it in a big conference so there's no imposter possibility at play.

Don't know what the conversation is on mock drafts, but this guy seems like a first rounder in the early year.

16 ppg, 94%(!) on 6 FTA per game, struggling so far from three but shot a higher volume last year at 36%. Ripping 2 spg. Seems comfortable with the ball in his hands. 21 years old. If he can bump up his threes and maintain everything else, he seems like someone that will go in the first.

What's up with USC's Onyeka Okongwu?

Looks like a defensive phenom.

Also providing really great scoring production with 71% free throw shooting.

So what pick does James Wiseman come off the board?

Teams have finally figured out that non-ball handlers should be far removed from the top of the draft, right?

I'm wondering if the Pelicans are having hype-remorse seeing how Morant is already an elite player. Hope, for their sake, Zion can take over a game with his handles.

Yeah, I'm guessing they expect Zion to be able to carry a LeBron/Giannis scoring load with pure physical dominance and they're banking on Jrue being his halfcourt deference in the short-term and Nickeil in the long-term.

I do suspect there's some Morant-envy, though. If he's a 6'3" Kobe, he should have went ahead of Zion.

I wonder if Jordan Nwora gets a 1st round grade during pre-draft evaluations. I've been a fan of his for a while. Would be money in the 2nd round.

Looks like Texas Tech has another first rounder.

Jahmi'us Ramsey is pretty nasty. Man's body that can score and defend at a high level. Takes and makes a lot of threes but his free throw percentage is in the 60% range so he probably doesn't have a translatable jumper, percentage-wise.

Also, Jaden McDaniels does appear better than his brother Jalen. I wonder if he's a knucklehead, too, though. Looks like a no-brainer lotto pick otherwise.

Aaron Nesmith might be my favorite sophomore. This kid might be something special. You know he's smart because he's at Vandy. And you know he's getting tough coaching from Jerry Stackhouse.

He's shooting the lights out and defending at a high level. 6'6" 215+ pounds.

So is there any second round power-forwards with Siakam like potential guys? Because I think drafting Horfords replacement who can be developed over a few years should be a priority.

Bassey's recent injury could be a big red flag come draft time

Return to Philadelphia 76ers
