Harden looked so hot a couple of months ago, he needs to sit for the rest of the regular season if he keeps looking like this.

you don't have to guard PJ at all.
is it like a law that we must always surround Biid with guys that teams can ignore.

It's terrible. I always thought he would be good for the sixers especially when benny boy was here. But everyone whined about how injury prone he is.

These guys are holding back. Both teams. Probably play hard the last 8 minutes.

House, McDaniels, and Reed all need to play well tonight. I'm not expecting anything from Niang or Shake tonight, but it would be nice. The bench has really suffered lately and that's really been the biggest issue. Reserves aren't getting us anything and that's a problem. Doc has ghosted Shake once again and he's really the only scorer coming off the bench. The rest are guys you hope can either make a play or get hot and hit a couple open threes. If the reserves show up tonight, we'll win. If not, we're going to lose, and both Harden and Embiid will be overexerted.
In a few weeks that all may apply, but for now let's just stay healthy. This game in and of itself means next to nothing.
I want to agree with you... but it's Boston and they have absolutely owned the Sixers the past 5 years. The Sixers need to show some fight and get the W this evening. Regardless of how you feel about the "dog mentality" cliche, IMO it absolutely applies in this case.
As an aside, if Jo goes 30-10 plus in a win... would go a long way toward him winning that MVP trophy (and a long overdue All NBA 1st team selection) that we all know he really wants.
Brown and Williams sitting, so obviously the Celtics don't see this as a 'must win'.

Tucker and Tobias offers absolutely no deterrence at the rim.

Embiid with an MVP worthy first half.

I love how the broadcast hyped Tatum during the entire quarter and he's barely scoring efficiently

Because they beat the Sixers all the time.

That whole 'ad within a game' was shameless. But it's all about the kids, don't you know? At about $150 a pair, probably.

Lol true and they know they will beat them in the playoffs lol.
As I said before our role guys struggle against the Celtics. Meanwhile theirs are always one of their role guys having a big game against the sixers.
Embiid had a monster first half and the Sixers couldn't even get up dbl digits once. The Celtics are comfortably with in reach and Tatum hasnt even got in a rhythm yet.

Their bench, with White, Brogdon, Williams, Muscala, Pritchard, etc. is so much better than the dreck we throw out there. We can match them and even beat them with our starting group, but it's the bench and coaching where we give so much away in a short series.
