is Ingram even that available and even then can we beat most offers for him?

I feel like if Mitchell resigns, then a Garland for Ingram swap is the next move for the Cavs

Why would New Orleans want Garland if they already have an undersized non-defensive guard in CJ (unless they plan on trading him too)? With us, they'd likely be granted a TPE along with picks which they could either hold onto or use in another trade before or at the deadline.

It sure sounds like he's available but I agree with you. I think Ingram to Cleveland for one of their Garland or Allen.

It would probably take a lot more than just Allen for Ingram. And Garland would be a poor fit next to McCollum.

I'm just saying I think those two teams have a basic blueprint for a deal. They can workout the details.

CJ will be 33 to start the season next year. I can't imagine his presence would deter them from a player like Garland.

Yeah, but he's still under contract at 30+ million for two more seasons. Unless they can find a taker for him, they'd probably be stuck with that pairing for at least a season if not longer.

Don't let that get in the way of overly scrutinizing every possible outcome as though the Sixers will have their pick of the litter in terms of what's available to them.

If you’re NOP, you don’t make any moves with CJ McCollum as a consideration. I’d be trying to dump that contract to the first taker if I were them.

Garland and Allen for Ingram and Daniels and a 1st or two is the trade that makes a ton of sense for both sides.

Multiple reports indicating Ingram is available.

Obviously the #1 target, we’ll see if Morey sees it that way though. LAC needs to cough up the max for Pal Jorge!

I don't think we have anything to offer NOP for Ingram. More picks aren't going to maximize Zion's effect right now. He's an MVP candidate playing on a team that is not built for him.

I guess the only reason would be to get under the apron?

SAC gets Ingram
PHI gets Barnes and Huerter
NOP gets Garland
CLE gets Daniels, 13, 26 OKC 1st, and 27 SAC 1st

Could follow this up with a trade for Mikal Bridges? IDK. We'll see what drops out as Morey goes around shaking trees.

Just not sure why you'd want those players on those salaries.

Two starter-ish players on sub 20M salaries? Exactly what you're looking for as far as depth and future tradable pieces go. We're already back to thinking about if we can get paid to take LaVine as it is.

There's nothing to be optimistic about until there is.

TPE + picks or 3-way?

Ingram and others like Jimmy will probably have to be a 3 way with a team blowing it up or in a rebuild like the Hawks (using Trae) or the Hornets (using LaMelo)... for Jimmy I thought the best first would have been the Cavs in a Mitchell deal but my guess is that he resigns and Garland goes out to which they'd want to get Jimmy or Ingram in said scenario.

LaMelo is a name I'd be very interested in.
