Egor really is that point forward, if that's what we're interested in. Very impressive defensive metrics as well. I wouldn't be shocked if he ends up being better than Flagg.
Ace Bailey kinda worries me in that he seems pretty one-dimensional. Not sure he can become a franchise player.

Based solely on the numbers I want Egor. Looks like a perfect fit as a point forward who can defend and distribute to play with M&M and also Jo and Paul if they can get healthy. Only red flag so far is the poor FT% albeit with low sample size.

Derik Queen and Boogie Fland? Any thoughts on those two? They currently plays like top 5-7 pick in this draft. And i love the name Derik Queen LOL

The name "Queen" is one of the bigger disqualifiers of his draft prospects. Trevelin Queen did nothing in the league.

Re: 2024-2025 College Basketball / NBA Draft
Also, can we appreciate the "win-now" players of the last draft mostly doing jack ****?
Aside from Dalton Knecht (who was one of the most efficient shooters/scorer in the country) the rest are doing nothing:
Jaylon Tyson: 3ppg, 2rpg, 1apg
Terrence Shannon: 1ppg
Tristan da Silva 7ppg, 4 rpg, 1apg (actually not bad)
Dillon Jones: 2ppg, 2rpg
Injured: Devin Carter, DaRon Holmes
Unless they provide an unreal skill set at that age where they can't be left off the court, they usually aren't worth it. The fallacy of "older means they're more ready" gets debunked every year.

And the fact that HS kids are more prepared physically and mentally than ever before is a factor as well. McCain carries himself (TikTok aside lol) as if he entered the draft as a college upperclassman, complete with a work ethic and a 'this stage isn't too big for me" mature mindset. Flagg looks to have the same attributes.

We resurrected Lowry, Gordon, and Jackson from the crypt only for them to be exorcised by a TikTok dancing, finger nail painting 20 year old. If you can ball, then you're NBA ready.

No Tyson slander, he's buried on a championship team like McCain would have had he went to Cleveland as well
Only one start this season and dropped a casual 16/11/7 with two steals on 58% shooting. Most obvious talent hiding in plain sight.
He doesn't even really play like a wing, he's a big guard that adapted to his frame.
I'm happy with McCain, but I'm also starved for a 6'7 220lb two way player that can do it all as well and Tyson has the upside to be that.

What's the comp if you focus on Bailey's shooting and the physical tools? Because on the flip side you could also point to someone like Jaylen Brown and how raw he was as a wing coming out of Cal. Boston nurtured his traits and harvested them into an unstoppable wing scorer.

I just learned that Flagg is just 17 years old. Damn. Yes. That’s a lock for number 1 pick. And count me in if you want to tank.

I think Will Riley will be the big riser among the freshman. He's averaging 17.2 ppg and only playing 24.7 mpg off the bench. That's a crazy per minute scoring production figure.

Both Flagg and Bailey will only be 18 on draft night. That's why I'm not concerned about putting them under the microscope right now (Flagg's shooting and Bailey's passing). These dudes are fetuses in terms of their development.

It's hilarious that he's currently mocked to the Kings at 12.

Wow, McCain is fine, but Tyson is the blueprint of the kind of player this roster needed and still needs. That is essentially Paul George without the ridiculous contract, but of course we have been under this "short window" thing now for it seems like the last five years.

Looks kinda like Brandon Ingram but somehow more averse to contact. Better defensively. His third assist of the season looked like an accident lol

Someone needs to talk me down from Kasparas Jakucionis because he’s looked like a top 5 pick so far this season.

For me he’s 6’9” version of Reed Sheppard, Lonzo Ball or Tyrese Haliburton. He’s perfect for the Nets.
