It might be one of the worst trades ever unless there's some significant unknown. But there's so many more questions if it was rigged.

Why would Dallas OK it? Why Now and why Luka? Like why not one of the other superstars especially when they were asking out or get a better draft pick when they were in the lottery?

Just found out about the trade. Shocking but hardly surprising if that makes sense. The Sixers along with a number of other teams could have easily beaten that offer for Luka if they had a chance. But it's the Lakers so they are allowed to acquire stars for dirt cheap.

The Mavs could have set themselves up for the next decade with the haul they could have gotten if they opened up a bidding war for Luka. This whole thing stinks to high heaven, but then at this point who is really surprised by anything that goes on in this league? LeKing probably inspired the 10-minute quarter foolishness, and he has his sights set on reducing 3-pointers as well.

The Sixers should be brave and stir the hornet's nest, as the Mavs have done, although Dallas has much less motivation. I wouldn't have moved Doncic, but the season is not good, and Doncic is missing a lot of games due to injury, plus his lack of discipline, work ethic, and not sticking to his diet have worn on the Mavs patience. They have been brave and taken the risk. I've been saying for a long time that the Sixers need to be brave, and move Embiid for high upside players and future picks. Immobility leads to mediocrity, which is what the Sixers are right now, mediocre.

Bizarre trade. AD ia a great player, but hes 32 and injury prone. Luka may be lazy but hes a great player and 25( he was on the finals last year). Lakers got their star for the next 10 years...

AD is 31 and hasn't been injured prone for 3 seasons now. Saying AD is injured prone is same as saying Steph Curry is injured prone during his first 3 years in the league.

If Mavs win the championship this seaaon, this move is so worth it.
