Damn thats sucks, I liked him a lot in the draft, hopefully he's still growing and that's the reason he broke it. CJ McCollum went through multiple foot fractures in large part due to the large growth spurt he had and the fact he was still growing.

Wow. EVERY rookie from this Sixers draft class is injured. Cursed.

Fake shoulder injuries cost you how many games as a rookie with this team? He’s done for the year.

Shamet and Furkan just moved up the depth chart.

Last I heard, Shamet had a bum ankle but hopefully that is better by now.....course you never know with that Sixer voodoo after all he is a first rounder too.

It really gets depressing after a while.

Don't know how you can pull off 3 injured players in this draft and didn't pick MPJ.

I know this sucks, but I feel pretty good about both Kormaz and Shamet. One of them is going to get some playing time for us. We'll be ok. I think Milton also gets a long look in preseason. I don't feel like Smith was going to play a whole lot anyway his first season. Hopefully this is our injury for the season and we can get this crap out of the way.

We really could have used the depth he'd provide. This sucks more than usual.

Because only one of those players was drafted with a pick that could have been used on Porter.

Why do all these injuries to our rookies have to be threatening ones, too? Jones fracture, damn.

:banghead:

The part I hate the most is I knew he would take some time to develop, now this just sets him back further in his development.

Someone tell Jojo to steer well clear of Zhaire, just in case its contagious.

This is annoying but not nearly as bad as Markelle in my opinion. I have low expectations for Zhaire in the next 3-4 years. Anything we get out of him will be a bonus.

Time for Shamet or Shake to make a name for themselves.

Smith was drafted with #16 and MPJ went #14.

I expected him to spend a decent amount of time in Delaware anyway so this isn't the biggest deal outside of the initial shock and awe of another rookie down.

Jones fractures have a pretty solid recovery rate as long as you give it time to heal. Risk is mainly when you rush back like Durant did.

It did me too initially, but mainly because we trade Mikal Bridges (the guy many thought would be the pick) for Smith who is now injured. I think we were quietly hoping that he would contribute right away for us in some capacity and now that wont happen. His athleticism alone was going to be a big help defensively for us.

Wasnt expecting much from Zhaire this year. Although I was hoping we can showcase him and use him as an asset for next offseason.

He has very raw skillset. Use a year to teach him to swim before throwing him out at the water.
