Hinkie just got lucky. Let's be real here. If he had to choose between healthy Parker/Wiggins or hurt Embiid and sixers had the 2nd pick, he would have done the same thing the Bucks did. He would have picked the the left over of parker and wiggins.
It was really a 3 man 2014 NBA draft. The difference between Embiid/Wiggins/Parker and the tier 2 prospects was so huge.
Embiid is playing great, but I'd like to see the sixers rest Embiid a few games here or there especially back to backs on the road. Even a young usually horse like Giannis playing a ton of minutes wore down last season. It happens to many bigs. Gotta save the miles on these guys.
If Hinkie was lucky with Embiid then he was unlucky with Okafor.
