Better mid range shooter than MJ

Don't think the league cares about mid-range

Hell, I can't imagine Darryll cares

He is simply unbelievable I wasn’t sure he had the inner drive to reach this level but I was wrong I think he’s going to get better and better every year. By the end of the year he will be averaging 31 points a game and 11 rebounds — you can see it coming.

I'm certain that Morey cares about his franchise player developing part of his game that makes him harder to defend and to doubleteam

3 level scoring is important, update your files

He's basically a 7 footer version of Khawi Leonard right now. That's a damn good all time great level player.

I knew he could reach this level, i was always on Team Biid. We have to build exclusively around him. He's a once in a generation talent.

With that being sayed, i' m starting to believe they can win together with Ben.The defense is just too good, and they are finding ways to complement each other on offense.

But our secondary scorer has to be a guard who can light up from 3, create shots and run the PnR well.

We just need our two stars to be surrounded by a better supporting cast, that would be enough to win a championship, Embiid is already an MVP caliber player and Simmons will be an MVP caliber player in a year or two, you win a championship with that, as long as your role players are good enough.

Is it time to talk about Embiids regression in help defense on drives? I think its to save energy for offense and lower his fouls but its infuriating watching him just let guys go in for layups most of the time.

I mean he's been doing that for 3 years. This isn't new.

He’s picking and choosing when he plays defense. Look at the way he defended Chris Paul forcing him into a bad shot.

It’s near impossible to be the main scorer for a team plus play 100% level defensive effort. It’s just not possible in this era. That’s why guys like
Anthony Davis and Giannis. People think they are great defenders. Cause they only try when they have to try. Most of the times those guys are just floating around on defense and saving energy for offense. Then you will see the occasional highlight blocks from
Them. But watch an entire game. And say to yourself. This is your defensive player of the year??

Like lebron is a great defensive player. But he takes plays off on defense. Has been for the last 6-7 years. To conserve his body. But Will kick it up a notch when needed on defense. But since Embiid is the center. All eyes are on him. The center is the last line of defense. Literally

I think his defense has to be better. He started the season playing harder on that end. Last game he was terrible, not effort at all. He looked gassed overall, but it shows more in defense were effort is crucial.

Defense as a Center is too important, we need him to play better on that end.

Agreed, I think like some have mentioned, he brings it at the end of games when necessary. It's just too hard to be the offensive hub and defensive star with the load he has. You see that with all the best players in the league who are great defenders.

Yes his position is critical, but his offense is even more important.

Thats why having a better secondary scorer is so important.

It would make Biid life easier on offense while also lowering his load on that end. That would give him more energy to play better defense consistenly.

Tobias Harris shooting 9 shots and 0 threes aint gonna cut it.

Yes a player who can carry the load and draw attention from Embiid. No one is worried about Ben or Tobias getting hot

Sadly for some reason there is a HUGE media push this year to give lebron mvp. It's gonna happen regardless of what Embiid does.

Sadder that it was LeBron who shoved him with both hands while Embiid was midair, causing him to injure his back. Backs and big men are already potential concern without being put wantonly at risk.
