Ingram is probably the ideal 3rd piece to bridge that gap. I wonder if Morey can turn Harden into him this summer. New Orleans is a difficult franchise to assess right now.
It's time for our boy to come home. It was never supposed to be SiMM0theS4v in the first place.

I really hope the experienced coaching staff with more than a week off , found some weaknesses in the Celtics to target. Not only that having Tobi and Maxey find a way to stay productive against this team should of been a huge focus as well.

Speaking of centers Looney is great and basically putting the warriors on his back with his hustle, energy and offensive rebounding

Man I kinda feel bad for the Kings. They have a bright future though.
Warriors-Lakers is about to pretty hype.

Uh oh....Looks like the Warriors are going to advance. 6 seed beating a 3 seed I their own building in a game 7. Nobody picked the Warriors to win this game after they lost Friday. Like I said, I'll reserve the doom and gloom until I see how the first four games with Boston go.

We need Paul Reed to deliver a Kevon Looney-like performance to beat the Celtics.

Agreed. Looney is a rebounding machine. If Paul Reed can grab the boards like him, we have a chance.

Re: Playoffs!?
Sacramento exceeded expectations from October through April, but the moment was too big for them.
It's cliche as hell, but Golden State wanted it more and the Kings were pitiful rebounding the ball, Even if Curry wasn't hitting I still think Golden State would have gone through.
Bright future ahead of them though. They need big man depth desperately.

Re: Playoffs!?
Sabonis was the weak link for the Kings on that series, guy relies too much on his strength to score and doesn't have any other move.
The Warriors gave him tons of space to just brick midrange shots and it kill the Kings. His rebounding also was ass the entire series.
I have a lot more respect for Fox after this season tho. The Kings have drafted pretty well (Mitchell and Murray) and have a great core moving forward with those guys + Fox/Monk, i would have doubts about resigning Sabonis

Looney has been a monster and an unsung reason for their success for years now. Loved seeing the Warriors show their championship mettle tonight (even though I was pulling for SAC), I hope they win the whole thing if it isn't us. But at least win the next round.

Agree. A couple of tweaks and some growth from Fox and Monk and they're legit. And a blast to watch.
They ran into a championship buzzsaw today and fell short, but they have no reason to be ashamed.

Re: Playoffs!?
Sabonis' total ineptitude to hit wide-open midrange J's with no one within 10 feet of him is a major problem. He plays like Ben Simmons, which will always get exposed when it counts.
He needs to spend the entire summer working on his J until he is at least adequate there. It was comical how badly the Warriors disrespected his shooting.

Yeah, that's an issue they need to address. He's a really good player in every other way but if you're being given 15-footers and won't even take them that's a big problem. They could use a solid stretch 4/5, even though Lyles is pretty good.

I'd like to see Trey Lyles in a Sixers jersey next October.

Re: Playoffs!?
The problem with our team against them and their principle is offense.
We dont have any actions where Celts would send help to breakdown their defense and kick it to open shooters.
In a way, we have prepared this entire series. Our offense is designed to make them pay for single coverage, we lead the league on ISO frequency and good in scoring with it.
IMO, what we need is MAXEY and HARDEN being able to get to the heart of their defense where they’d send help to get our guys open looks.
Celts seems very satisfied for Embiid to take shots at the elbow. Keep it close. Then on crunch time, get Al good look with Biid helping out on defense.
Its similar treatment they did with the Hawks. They’re OK with Trae doing his thing scoring almost 1 point per shot with all the floaters and hunting at Al. Hawks wont be able to outscore them without a barrage of 3s and FTs.

Re: Playoffs!?
Celtics are gonna try to trade 3 for 2. They'll happily let a hobbled Embiid work in the midrange, or force Harden and Maxey to finish at the rim.
On the other end they'll play drive and kick to hunt open 3's with their 5-out offense.
