Furkan is adorkable. First the cheap ass Darth Vader costume during the dunk contest and now this sincere af video. He's so charmingly lame. How could you not root for this guy?

Go look at his rookie pics, he's definitely put on some lbs. He talked about getting stronger in the offseason. He will probably always be a thin dude though until he gets in his 30 and his metabolism slows down.

Furkan put on a legitimate 30 pounds since being drafted. He was drafted in the 170 range (probably wasn't even that heavy) and is now slightly over 200 pounds. It's one of the reasons why he's been able to get on the court and play SF minutes.

Kevin Huerter sings a 4 year $65 million contract. Landry Shamet signs a 4 year $43 million contract.

Given that, Korkmaz's 3 year $15 million contract looks like an absolute bargain. Huerter earned that contract with his good play in the playoffs. However, we've experienced players cash in on a good playoff performance only to not live up to the newly signed contract (e.g. see Samuel Dalambert). Shamet is basically very similar to Korkmaz - streaky shooters that don't offer much in playmaking or defense.

Plus we are going to unleash Korky the PG this season.

If Korkmaz makes the leap this season, how realistic is it to say that his ceiling is poor man’s Stojakovic?

Read on Twitter

Took his job, took his emoji, and took his team.

Ben better hold on to Maya Jama with all he's got.

Look at Niang's face of wonder and awe, as he stares at greatness. It's like Dr. Grant when he first saw the Brachiosaurus.

Love seeing him come into his own. He's a testament to working hard on his game and improving every year.

I want to see him get a consistent 30mpg this year, whether off the bench or as a starter. He's earned a longer leash instead of yanking him immediately if he's not hot.

I'm enjoying the Kork show as much as anyone but when going against capable and engaged defenders this will go up in flames.

A fun regular season distraction though!

At least Furk is not paid the max like some other players on our team displaying similar characteristics! And there is still hope he can improve and be playable in playoffs.

The Furk contract is a huge bargain/value deal for us. He has his limitations and is streaky as hell, but improves every year on something. If this team ever wins a CHiP, Furk will be an all time Philly legend.

This is the way.

He must go full woodsmen style. Won’t be satisfied until Korklord grows it out, and throws away the shavers all year and only sleeps once every 3 days.

Clear evidence here of good/bad mode :)

We saw Pretty Boy Ricky evolve into Drug Lord Fiba Player of the Tournament MVP Rubio in 2019.
