Man I really hope Kawhi doesn’t join the LA superteam. He just doesn’t seem like that guy but you never know...

Whenever an underdog became a champion, it’s usually a big thing. I can remember how crazy it was for Dirk back then to beat the Heatles.

Is it just me or the Raps winning the championship was a “ho-hum” moment?

Like sure Raps won it. But there weren’t any dramatic moments like dirk’s one legged fade away in the clutch and the competition was really “meh” with klay and kd being out with injuries.
Same. Thought I'm just getting older, lol

I don’t think Kawhi, LeBron and Davis would work. They certainly wouldn’t get to the Finals and I wouldn’t be shocked if they miss the playoffs. I’m not kidding when I say that either. They’d be the trendy pick to go all the way, which eliminates them right there, the trendy pick never wins. They’d have zero depth, their 5th starter and entire bench would basically have to be d league guys. And Davis gets hurt every year and as LeBron gets older he’s more likely to sustain injuries as we saw last year. One injury and they’d be toast with their lack of depth. It wouldn’t be a super team it would blow up in their face.

If Kawhi goes there I’m going to be pushing that agenda all season long, just for bragging rights when they miss the playoffs I can say I’m the only one on the planet who saw it coming.

You can't be serious.

Players who will miss on big money contract will gladly take minimum with Lakers, cause they will play a lot of minutes and have wide open shots.

They'll end up with players of Robin Lopez, Caroll, Ennis caliber and destroy the league. Kawhi just won a title with no 2nd star. He will have **** LeBron and Davis there.

I’m dead serious, you don’t build championships in free agency, it never works in any sport. I’m telling you it’ll fail. There is a greater chance they miss the playoffs than even make the Finals. I’m going to be the only one on this side, and I’m fine with it because I’ll grt full bragging rights when I’m right.

Barring major injuries to 2 of the big 3, there's no way they miss the playoffs. They could lose in the playoffs due to depth issues, but its wishful thinking that they won't even make it.

Hey I was the first person who said the Lakers would miss the playoffs last year, people called me crazy them and I made a lot of money getting against them this past season it actually got me a brand new gaming rig, 5 grand.

This year is a tougher task, but I’m looking to double up betting against the Lakers and a year from now since the odds will be even greater I’ll buy a new yacht and retire with my earnings.

Last year wasn't that surprising. LeBron surrounded himself with pre-existing garbage from the Lakers and mixed it with non-shooting castoffs that have no business getting meaningful time on a contender in the West. That's very different then stacking the team with 2 of arguably the top 5 best players in the league. If they get Kawhi, it's even sillier to bet against them making the playoffs. However, you'll make this controversial statement, get the reaction you'd like, and let it disappear when it doesn't happen. It's a low stakes take, but whatever.

The Heat were a colossal failure and had playoffs fixed for them by David Stern. This is something I know as 100% fact.

I wouldn’t be surprised if the NBA fixed things for the Lakers too but they certainly won’t accomplish anything in merit.

I’d rather have Kemba than Jimmy. Kind of pissed.

Big get for the Celtics. Kemba and Jayson will keep them in the mix. If Hayward gets back to form, they're a stealth contender in the east.

I still don't think it's going to happen with teams like the Lakers lurking and others, but it would just be an awful signing. He's not a winning player. Ainge is so bad at his job. Remember when people actually thought he was good? how dumb do they look now? lol

I'm just glad Horford is gone. Tiny Celtics guards have never bothered this team like Horford has.

Celtics are getting 3rd big FA in last year's. So much for that bad rep.

LOL at Boston getting a Kyrie wannabee when they couldn't even get it done with the real thing :D . Of course it's only natural for some Philly fans to act like everything they do is "great", but the fact is they were the favourites last year and totally bombed and now they will most certainly have a weaker squad. So forgive me for not being bothered about them.
